GO WITH THE FLOW 💃💃💃
SO not hungry. But two hours after a solid work out @khaosconditioning and i figured l'd eat something....so bizarre and glorious. I remember being anxious all the time... believing i wasnt enough because I was "too skinny." I remember my weight and slim image being all I think about. I remember getting skinnier in the process. I remember ensuring I got the IDEAL nutrition pre, intra and post workouts. I remember missing out on LIFE... on people, fun, freedom... Anxiety kills man. We all have something to take away from Elsa❄LET IT GO⭐ •

the reason i laughed through this video wasn't so much because of the prank in general, although it was funny, but moreso because of the cognitive dissonance that carnists usually have. as seen here, they all have this aversion to "seeing" a piglet killed, but prior to "seeing" it they had no problem eating it. and to say they didn't want that actual piglet and wanted an already packaged piece of meat is what's laughable.
how is that any different? just because you don't witness the slaughtering of an animal doesn't mean it didn't happen. these people even pleaded the man not to kill the piglet! what's hard for me to understand is that carnists want to poke fun at vegans for doing the same thing in the real world. i'm being hopeful that maybe the disconnect isn't so far away. maybe this video will at least open carnists' minds to how vegans feel when they see any kind of meat or animal product; the abuse, torture, rape, kidnapping, and killing of these sentient beings.
change starts from within, and to change you have to be put in an uncomfortable situation. once in that situation, in time, you will feel comfortable. most vegans i know weren't raised vegan. so i know it can happen. if you don't want to change, then please be mindful of how vegans feel instead of putting us down for our choices to live a lifestyle to which we believe is ethical and moral.
What I see is the system at work exploiting humans as well as animals. All these men are of color. Torturing animals is what they are paid to do. It’s usually people of color, low income, or immigrant people working in these factories or at least being held accountable when I guarantee they didn’t take this job because they want to torture animals. They’re exploiting vulnerable animals, they exploiting vulnerable humans. .
And the burgers and chickens we eat are a result of this exploitation. 🤬
As a part of its #factoryfarm initiative, @arminvestigations (ARM) conducted its third undercover investigation regarding the mistreatment and abuse of cows at #dairyfarms.-
Randomly selected, an ARM operative was hired to conduct multiple jobs upon the McArthur Dairy farm which is located in Okeechobee, FL, close to the Burnham and Larson farms which the organization previously exposed through similar undercover investigations.-
Three workers at McArthur Diary have been arrested for animal cruelty as a result of ARM’s recorded undercover videos of the abuse inflicted on cows.-
ARM’s video shows dairy cows being tormented, beaten, and chased down with PVC piping and other homemade tools. ARM said one of the tools included a knife attached to the end of a PVC pipe that was thrust into the side of the cows. -
McArthur Dairy is owned and controlled by corporate giant Dean Foods, which stands as one of the most expansive dairy farms in the state of Florida and is the most recognized brands of milk products. Dean Foods is the largest dairy producer in the United States and the second largest dairy producer in the world.
The middle, Mario Hernandez, an assistant supervisor, was reportedly the perpetrator seen hitting a cow in the face with a sharpened PVC pipe.-
On the right, Fernando Lopez, a caretaker, is allegedly the person poking a cow with a PVC pipe, hitting an udder with a pipe, and breaking a cow’s tail.-
On the left, Gilberto Dorante – Garcia is thought to be the man horrifically holding a flame to a cow’s face and hitting an udder with PVC pipe. 💔🐄💔 #GoDairyFree#Vegan 🌱

SPICED RUM & TURMERIC EGGNOG 🍸🎄 Yes, you heard right, eggnog. But there are no eggs used in the production of this sweet little number. A very simple recipe to whip up, it makes the perfect Christmas cocktail.
If you think using chickpea liquid for a beverage sounds a bit weird, you are not alone, but you'll just have to trust me. It does not taste of legumes at all, and creates a texture identical in flavour and texture to whipped egg whites. Amazing, I know!! Stuart and I have just been encountering endless issues getting the Silvobeat website online 😭 (having a Telstra outage for the last 2 weeks and no internet at home is not helping!!) So here's the recipe for your patient little hearts...❤️ Ingredients (3-4 serves) • Liquid from a can of unsalted chickpeas (about 200ml liquid) • 250ml non-dairy milk (I recommend Bonsoy as it is creamiest and least likely to split) • 45ml spiced rum (I use Captain Morgan’s) • 2 1/2 Tbsp agave syrup (or other sweetener such as rice malt syrup, maple syrup etc) • 3/4 tsp ground turmeric
In a mixing bowl add the chickpea liquid and beat with an electronic beater for about 2 minutes, until soft peaks are forming. Gradually add the sweetener and beat for a further 3-5 minutes, until semi-stiff peaks begin to form. (Optional: Scoop out 1/3 cup of the mixture and put it in a piping bag ready for garnishing). To the remaining mixture add the milk, rum and turmeric. Beat until well combined. Serve immediately; pour the mixture into serving glasses, pipe the reserved meringue on top, and dust with ground cinnamon.
The eggnog should be consumed immediately as it will begin to split over time. If you have left the mixture aside and it has split, re-whip it to combine the mixture. . .
Fresh organic fruits & veggies from a friend 😌💓 so grateful!
