Successfully erected the peace pole. We invited our representatives to participate but none showed up. http://www.peacepoleproject.org/ Too bad!
Yesterday we celebrated International Day of Peace by having a dedication ceremony for our two new peace poles. It was a special day for BHOB and we had a wonderful turnout - thank you to everyone who joined us. We are grateful to the Rotary Club of Tigard for sponsoring our symbols of peace. Our peace poles serve as a reminder for everyone who sees them to never stop visualizing peace or working toward it. #peacepole
Two peace poles bearing the message, “May Peace Prevail on Earth” will soon be towering symbols of unity at BHOB. We're hosting a public peace pole dedication ceremony at 11:45 am, Thursday, Sept. 21. Everyone is welcome. We're located at 9055 SW Locust Street in Tigard. We're grateful to Rotary Club of Tigard for sponsoring our beautiful peace poles. #peaceforworld
May peace prevail on earth 🌏 the phrase was coined by the late Masahisa Goi of Japan in 1955. Around 1976, the idea of the #peacepoleproject was born in order to encourage the message. To date, there are over 200,000 peace poles in the world #Miami 🇺🇸🇪🇸
Have you heard about the Peace Pole Project? A Peace Pole is a hand-crafted monument that displays the message "May Peace Prevail on Earth" in different languages. There are tens of thousands of Peace Poles in 180 countries all over the world. They serve as constant reminders for us to visualize and pray for world peace.
#pea#peacepoleect #peacepole #personalpeacepole Tried my hand at making a personal peace pole for my yard. Big chore but I'll be adding a solar light and it will blend into my Yard soon.

Epically beautiful spring day spent entirely outside and in the garden. Beets, carrots and lettuce sown, compost shoveled, leeks, onions and kale transplanted, radishes thinned, mushroom logs inoculated, kale and chickweed harvested (and eaten 🍃😋), another flat of flowers and herbs seeded for under the lamps, electric fence repaired and bee hives readied. It was my absolute favorite kind of spring day. 🌱🌼#grateful #gardener#forestgarden#sustainableliving#peacepoleproject
