Roads go ever ever on,
Over rock and under tree,
By caves where never sun has shone,
By streams that never find the sea;
Over snow by winter sown,
And through the merry flowers of June,
Over grass and over stone,
And under mountains in the moon. #tolkien#portland#oregon#home#outside#mthood#pnw

The Great Trip - Part 2: Berkeley to Portland - 2230/4368km - 17hrs of driving
1. California Highway 1 North along the coast through the Mendocino National Forest. The climate changes slightly to the north, no drought, but lots of green and very old Redwood trees
2. Driving through the Redwoods National Parks and crossing the California Oregon state border. Quick selfie!
3. Stopping by the Gold Beach (literally a golden view during sunset) soon after. The west coast has magical places along the highway
4. After sunset we went landward onto the Interstate 5 towards Portland. Portland is way cooler than the Bay we are used to. And its windy, very windy.
Dear Honda Passport, it’s been a while now since we all met. You did and your are still doing a great job! Keep the good work going for all the people to come driving you. Thank you so much
"Be fearless. Have the courage to take risks. Go where there are no guarantees. Get out of your comfort zone even if it means being uncomfortable. The road less traveled is sometimes fraught with barricades bumps and uncharted terrain. But it is on that road where your character is truly tested And have the courage to accept that you’re not perfect nothing is and no one is and that’s OK." I think sometimes we all need to hear words like this! Be fearless ⭐
