Finally home after a crazy, non-stop day. It started with skating lessons at 9:40 am, then straight to a track meet from 10:45-4:00, then straight to swimming lessons at 5:00. I’m beat, and my kid is an animal. 😆 For those who care - Ri’s track events today were 300m (PR), 4x200m relay, and long jump. #trackandfield#usatf#sprinter#longjump#nycparks#skatinglessons
Not sure how I’ve lived in NYC for 14 years and never been inside the Cooper Hewitt museum. They have an amazing exhibit right now: ‘Access + Ability’. This Aura Power suit is designed to help those with mobility issues move. Yay science! PS- amazing architecture too #cooperhewitt#science#themoreyouknow#fuseprojectsf
Walked to the park today since it was a beautiful 54°. After dealing with temps in the teens and 20s for a few weeks, it seemed like everyone was enjoying the weather. Completely forgot the snow and ice this past week made everything super muddy. Still worth the walk though #nycparks#latourettepark#statenisland#parksinwinter
Winter Jam ❄ ❄ ❄
Saturday, January 27 | 11:00 AM–3:00 PM | FREE
Central Park, Manhattan
NYC Parks's annual winter sports festival features fresh-blown snow courtesy of Gore Mountain, so families can try cross-country skiing, sledding, snowshoeing and snowboarding, or just frolic in the fluffy white stuff. Equipment is provided or bring your own. Signed waivers are required for certain activities. Arrive early to beat the crowds, and keep an eye on the weather. It has been canceled in the past for too cold temps.
