Hey darlings, it's been really hot these past few weeks(in Trinidad). I'm certain a number for you have been experiencing your hair being dried out.
Using the right products for this type of atmosphere is usually a challenge for many but you should
1. Avoid products with ingredients that take moisture from your hair
2. Look for products that have ingredients that foster hair moisture.
As mentioned in past posts, knowing ingredients are very important, being informed is very important.
All products are not formulated with your hair’s best interest at heart. Companies focus on increasing manufacturing and reducing costs so they opt for cheaper ingredients. Be smart and avoid these main culprits. So it comes down to you knowing what's good/bad for your hair. Today we'll pick on alcohols.
1. Alcohols - If you read the labels on your products you’ll see that these are a regular addition to many products. Not all are bad, but the ones that are, evaporate very quickly and leave your hair drier than before. The bad ones to look out for:
Ethanol or Ethyl Alcohol
SD (Specially Denatured) Alcohol
Isopropanol or Propyl Alcohol

That's all you can be, embrace all that you have and work with what and who you are. Don't change to fit in, be you! People can either accept the way you are or they can choose not too, but that's okay because this world is full of positive and influential people and God will form a new circle of the one's he wants you to have in your life.
I have an article where I teach my kids to love their natural hair, and I teach them to love and embrace it. If you fancy a read, the link is in my bio. Love you all take care!
•Co-Washing is key!! It allows the natural oils to cleanse & condition the hair & scalp. Using shampoo too often can strip the hair due to the harsh chemicals. Therefore, co-washing provides a great conditioning treatment for your hair while also providing mild cleansing.
