He actually loved everything when he finally tried it lol #winning 👉🏻Guys, my son would much rather eat pasta and sauce, or vanilla and maple corn puffs.& He certainly does eat those things still!
But the hard truth is, he needs to learn to eat healthy NOW.
He needs REAL FOOD with nutrients for his growing brain and body. He doesn't need chemicals, dyes, or artificial flavors. He needs to learn that veggies are yummy, and good for him 🙏🏻 Where is he going to learn any of this if I don't set the example? If I tell him to eat his Vegetables but I'm over there eating chips?
This post isn't to show you how "healthy" my son eats, Because kids WILL be kids when it comes to food 🤷 they're going to eat cereal sometimes, or spaghetti O's.
When we were going through our money crisis recently, he ate things that wouldn't be my number one choice. But even during that time when we bought fruit, it was for him. When we bought veggies, they were for him. ✨ I can tell you my NUMBER ONE reason for changing my life around was my son. Because he is looking at ME. I am his role model and I want to set a good example as much as I humanly can.
Good whole foods and exercise will be part of my son's life as he grows up because it's something I have implemented into mine.
HE deserves it just as much as I do 👏🏻🎉 This post is to speak to the parent who knows they need to change their lifestyle, who WANTS to, but doesn't know where to start.

Coming from a hardworking Franco-American family, Barb got her first job with Doyon’s Pharmacy, which used to be located on lower Main Street. Once she graduated Biddeford High School she briefly went to Philadelphia where she got first hand experience in the food industry, but followed her heart that lead her right back home with knowledge under her belt!
While she stayed in the food industry on and off as a waitress and then manager, she decided after having her children to stick to the medical field where she excelled at being a Practice Coordinator!
With many years having passed, and a crazy turn of events, Barbara met Shawn Vance! While Shawn had this great idea of The Hamburger Stand, Barbara was his driving force behind him to get it going! Once things were truly in motion, she went from being a full time employee at Maine Med to the Co-Owner of The Hamburger Stand!
Her attention to detail when it comes to cleaning and prepping, along with a natural flow of customer service, is what has made her such a big component to our fresh burgers, fries and more!
