Before there was #FireJumpFriday, I spent a lot of my time focusing on #ForearmFriday - an art that makes you feel the world differently, because you have to be so intuned with your body in order to make it work.
And I always loved that.
I loved spending each day connecting with myself on this weird, interwebbed level that made me understand movement, breath and positioning in a completely different way than anything else -
Because you have to be calm.
That was always so cool to me because I'm usually so jumpy and energetic that shutting it all down to focus on that one task made every other thought completely melt away.
It's learning CONTROL, because you can't wish your way in to poses and you definitely can't flail your way.
Every single step needs to be understood and executed.
And that's pure beauty to me.
People have asked me how did you lose 40 pounds after having your baby and how is your hair and skin so healthy and clear? 💞
It’s not a magic pill, expensive skin cream or special shampoo…it’s a lifestyle!
I don’t smoke or drink. I use cheap over the counter skin care products, shampoo and makeup from the grocery store.
It’s about SELF CARE. Regular exercise, decent sleep, and healthy foods!
It’s also about being aware of what I put into my body!
I don’t eat perfectly, but I try to avoid processed foods and I avoid supplements with artificial sweeteners, fillers and ingredients.
I refuel my muscles postworkout with the best, clean, non-GMO, gluten free plant based superfood protein rather than a cheap plain protein shake with no nutrients or Muscle Milk- which is highly processed, has a ton of sodium and cheap low quality protein and carageenan (which causes intestinal inflammation and cancer). Superfoods🌿 are full of phytonutrients to decrease inflammation and acidity in my body that leads to cancer and disease. These nutrients help fill in the holes of my nutrition to ensure I am the healthiest version of myself and my shake is also loaded with probiotics and digestive enzymes for a healthy gut.
My health is my #1 investment, and it should be yours too. 💗

I’m not the girl who dresses cute to go to the gym. It’s usually baggy sweats that look like I just rolled outta bed. I’m not cute when I workout, I kinda look like a dick or like I have an overheating issue, so needless to say, I don’t like being seen at the gym. But there’s this giant mirror in the locker room and I noticed I went and got a tad smaller again! So here’s to the girls who are happy looking like a slob to get some work done. 🤷♀️💕💪
Camera roll says I took this pic at 10:50pm last night - late night lifting sessions are my favourite. 🤩 Gym is mostly empty so I get to hog a squat rack / barbell without the constant “hey how many sets you got left?” every 2 mins. 😅
Breezed through my main lifts:
🔹 5x5 squats @@ 175lbs followed by
🔹 3x5 conventional deads @ 165lbs
🔹 finished with leg press, hip ab/adductions, and back extensions
I’m in desperate desperate need of a solid pair of GLOVES 🧤 (or wraps??) as I’m not sure my calluses can take much more of the abuse I’ve been giving em. 🙈😩 Any brand recommendations would be much appreciated! 🙏🏼💕
A while back I decided to take it easy with the deadlifts and focus more on my weaknesses. Then the opportunity to be a test pilot for @styrkelabbet 's new deadlift program showed up. One think lead to another... So on Monday I'll start a 6 week program with the aim to demolish my old pr (or at least hit a new one 😉). Oopsie 🙈🤷♀️

👉 I was thinking about FEAR this morning —-> I spent a lot of years being afraid. Afraid to take risks, afraid to fail & afraid to trust my own judgement. FINALLY, I broke free of that & for the last couple of years I’ve poured myself into my business (& while learning a lot), haven’t achieved what I wanted with it... Now I’m there again. Time to do something new, something scary, to trust my gut, face of my fear (of failure) & take the leap...stay tuned! .
