Just like a frog, we as humans go through many transitions in life. We should embrace those transitions and see each of them as a journey to reach the better, newer versions of ourselves. If it weren’t for those journeys, we wouldn’t have been who we are today!
It's true you guys, one year has so many days for lots and lots of opportunities 😊 I'm always trying to think that with the right mindset and the belief in yourself you can go further than you ever imagined! And that is what I want, to thrive, to be better, to do better every day.
Every day I learn new things, and that's how I want it, I never want to stop learning.
Opportunities could be like making a change for yourself that you've always wanted. Because I don't belive that it's ever too late to change. I've heard many people say things like "well that's too late now" or "that's never going to be me"
No, I won't hear it! That is called giving up! If you want something, you have to fight for it, or it will eat you up inside. And for me I'd rather have tried to reach my goal than do nothing. 💚💪 #gothere#beliveinyouself#makeachange#life#lifechanges#fitspo#fitness#nevertoolate#quote#motivation#opportunities#change#makeithappen#icaniwill#workforwhatyouwant
Today, I can say with utmost certainty that practicing mindfulness meditation has completely changed my life. After several weeks of meditating, for the first time in my life I became aware of what I was doing. I was here (in my body) and my inner critic was there (in my thinking). I ‘Tess’ was separate from my thinking. This inner critic that had followed me around for 27 years was not actually me. ⠀
Mindfulness has helped reduce feelings of anxiety and depression. It has given me a greater sense of calm and inner contentment than I have ever felt before. It has blessed me with the gift of being consciously aware. It has allowed me to develop a healthy relationship with food. It has improved my relationships due to being able to respond, rather than react. I had always assumed that my thoughts were my reality, but now I had something different to work with and a whole new world opened up before me. It was truly a gift. ⠀
Have you thought about trying mindfulness meditation? What is stopping you?
