It’s been a quality 6 weeks with client James. Not even a quarter of the way through and we’re already onto something special! 📈 We are still in a phase of developing movement patterns, isolating muscle groups and building strength. The goal for him is to add some size but keep as lean as possible therefore, the nurtrition is gradually increased on a weekly basis depending on weight, performance in the gym and overall energy levels. 📌 i hate when people ask me how do you do it. Like it’s something impossible to begin & achieve.
📌 I hate when people give me faces when I say I diet Monday-Friday & Sunday. The word DIET doesn’t mean I only eat salads or flavorless foods
📌 i hate when people tell me I am boring for spending my days and free time at the gym. For not going out every weekend & partying.
🗣 HEAR ME OUT : I started this fitness journey but I never fully committed bc I was told not to eat certain things, I didn’t understand the process it takes for my body to adapt, cleanse & begin seeing baby gains. But once i did- i never miss a day in the gym (unless im sick or simply not in town) — I hate using the word DIET because the first thing I hear is “omg you eat rabbit food or you only eat vegetables - or the “ you eat with no flavor don’t you hate it?” Dieting for me personally was a life changing decision I’ve made. No body forced it upon me but myself. I challenge myself everyday to find the healthy version of the foods I love. Being full Mexican and growing up in a household full of pan dulce, Mexican goodies and the famous tortillas how can dieting not be almost impossible. But if you really think about It- the healthier version tastes better + you can eat more with no guilt 😊. & lastly, because I’m not out every weekend it doesn’t mean I don’t know how to have fun or enjoy life. I enjoy going to the movies. Hiking. Visiting museums & national parks & overall spending my time on something that I can benefit from. 🤔
It’s a lifestyle - it doesn’t come easy, but it’s not impossible ✅
