. i was 14 years old when i got my first gym membership. . I had no clue what i was doing for 3-4 years and barely saw any results. . When i was about 17 years old, everything changed. . I loved wearing cutoffs because i thought they were the cool thing to wear at the time. I was still about 145lbs and super skinny. . One day i was working out. I can remember it like it was yesterday. I was doing Dumbbell Bench Press. I just dropped the weights after finishing my set and i was looking in the mirror at myself. Honestly, i was looking at how skinny i still was and was a little embarrassed. . Then it got even worse. This huge guy, on steroids of course, says to me, “looking at yourself isn’t going to make you any bigger, where’s your sleeves at anyways?” . I was so shocked and i just froze and didn’t know what to do or say. . I just ignored him, but then another guy says, “what’s up ‘LG’?” Now i was really confused. . Then he says, “LG, little guy, that’s what you are.” . I was never so embarrassed in my life. I forgot to mention there were probably 10-15 guys all watching this happen and laughing at me. All i was doing was trying to get bigger and better, and i had these older guys that weighed 100 pounds more than me, making fun of me. This went on and on for the next few months. I even started wearing sweatshirts to cover up my skinny arms. . From that day forward everything changed... . I went home that night and researched all night till 2-3 in the morning. I was going to figure this fitness thing out. I watched YouTube, read articles, magazines, forums, you name it. I did this for a year straight and still do today just to gain more and more knowledge. . 3 years later i went from being 145lbs to 200lbs at the peak of my bulk. . Now, after going through that i realize how simple fitness is. I went through 3-4 years to figure everything out going through trial and error. . That’s what brought me to where i am today. I want to help other guys who are hardgainers and who struggle putting on muscle. I don’t want everyone else to have to be confused and clueless for 3-4 years before they figure things out. .
