We had a visit from Zoo Lab at our last beaver session and of course I just had to take Eden along. She absolutely loved it, the guy was fantastic who done it all. He genuinely loves all of his creatures and was so careful with them and really got down to all of the children's level to tell them all about the animal. He 100% put the animals safety at the forefront and not all animals could be touched, some like the frog and tarantula we looked at within their enclosures.
Eden had a ball, the most engaged I've have even seen her, a whole hour she didn't stop listening to the man and looking at all of his animals, she loved the snake and cockroach the best.
I also received this lovely shiny badge last week. What a 10 years they’ve been. I have become a qualified leader for Brownies, guides, Rangers and Rainbows. Have done my going away with indoor licence for Brownies and converted it over to senior Section. Received the Region compass award. Opened up a ranger unit. Received my Queens Guide Award. Helped plan the county brownie centenary. Visited Downing Street to represent my county at the Big Brownie Birthday Party. Became a Division section coordinator and a mentor. Helped plan several fundays. Been security for several scout events. Oh and become a county Section adviser. Made some blooming amazing friends and had some fantastic adventures. So with an action packed 10 years behind me, now we look forward to the next 10 years. What could they possibly bring..... #girlguiding#iscout
