To Øl - Liquid Confidence———————————
07-02-18 // bottle from hopt-shop. Pitch black with a brown head. Loads of bitter chocolate and roasted coffee, dry malty sweet, minimal spicy chili in the end. Great texture.
Taanilinn! A big ass mofo of an Imperial Oatmeal Stout weighing in at 14%, brewed in collaboration with our Estonian friends from @pohjalabeer. Rich, viscous and rounded, with a big hit of spice from Vana Tallinn (a rum-based liquor with cinnamon and vanilla) that was poured straight into the brew. Aged on Cognac barrels!

Review 1408 - Chocolate Bar Stout - Prins Katts Hantverksöl - Imperial Stout - ABV 8.0% - @prins_katts - Here's a contradiction for you. The name implies pastry stout all the way, but the flavor in this imperial stout leans more towards classical stout with ashy and heavy roasted malts. Don't get fooled by the name. Aroma is full of coffee, licorice, heavily roasted malts and tar. Taste follows the aroma with really heavy roasted, almopst acidic characters. Super dark bitter chocolates, heavy coffee, red berry sting and a long bitterness. The name is unfortunate, but if you look past that, you get a really flavorful and true to style imperial stout. Nothing sweet going on here. 4.0/5.0 #prinskatt#prinskattshantverksöl#chocolatebarstout#imperialstout#swedishcraftbeer#drinkitlikeyoumeanit#fortheloveofbeer#thebeernation#hopmaestro
