Please keep the peoples of the Caribbean & Mexico in your thoughts and prayers, and guve aid if you can. Everything is progressing rapidly & apparently for the worse in the wake of #HurricaneMaria, the aftermath of #HurricaneIrma, and the #MexicoEarthquake’s devastation.
Hurricane Maria is making her way through the Caribbean and is leaving significant damages. We keep each and everyone in our prayers. *

4 years ago I started my career with Carnival Cruise Lines. It was 4 best and worst years of my life. Some of you will say that it is impossible to be the best and the worst at the same time. Trust me, it is possible. But right now I don't want to talk about Carnival (maybe later). I want to say something that has been in my heart and on my mind for a while now, since those terrible hurricanes started. My first ship was Carnival Valor sailling from San Juan, Puerto Rico. I visited the most amazing islands: St Thomas, St Lucia, Barbados, St Kitts and St Marteen. What would you feel if you found out that those islands were devastated by hurricanes? That the places you were the happiest are destroyed? I can't really describe my feelings. I feel like I want to get rid of all the unnecessary stuff I posses, all the expensive things I don't use or wear. I feel like all my problems are nothing compared to the calamity on those islands. When will humanity (and me including) stop spending money on useless crap and start investing in saving the Earth, preventing climate change? When will we wake up? I have recently watched the documentary Before the Flood by Leo DiCaprio and I ask you to do the same and think what can YOU do to help. I know now that hurricane Maria reached Puerto Rico but I am scared to see the damage. In the near future I will look through my pictures from those islands to show you the beauty of the places I've visited and I hope the islands will recover some time soon from the fury of nature. #carnival#carnivalcruiseline#carnivalcrew#carnivalvalor2013#puertorico#sanjuan#hurricaneseason2017#hurricaneirma#hurricanemaria#beforetheflood#leonardodicaprio#savetheearth🌎#furyofnature#hope
