Got it done!!💪 I saw a few people in my fitness groups asking if they can just skip today's workout because they don't like it. Oh sure, why not. Let's just skip everything we don't like. 🙃 There have been a lot of days at work I'd like to skip. But then I wouldn't get paid. So how about instead, I show up!!! To work and to my workout! 😁
People want the results without doing the work. And apparently they also think they have to like something to do it. The same can be said for motivation.
Well I hate to break it to them, but there are going to be plenty of days they don't like. And plenty of days where they aren't motivated. That's life. So instead of skipping those days, suck it up and look forward to the days you DO like and are motivated. 👌
I'm glad the rockstars in my Transformation Nation accountability group understand this. They're crushing our ab & booty workout program with minimal complaints. And their hard work is paying off with awesome results!! So proud of them (and me). 😁🙌

One of my best days at work recently was talking to a client on the phone and asking if he was happy with what we were doing for him. Not only did he say yes, he emphasized that we were the first marketers to come to him who listened and made a plan—we think we should start here, and then we’ll take this step next—instead of just trying to sell him whatever services we had. At the end of the call, he said, “As far as I’m concerned, you guys are the only choice in town.”⠀
And that tells me that I’m doing my job right.⠀

| Soft tissue injuries | . .
➡️ Rest – stop any exercise or activities and try not to put any weight on the injury. But don't totally immobilise it as little movements will stop it becoming stiff. .
➡️ Ice – apply a wrapped ice pack (or wrapped bag of frozen peas) to the injury for up to 20 minutes every 2 to 3 hours. .
➡️ Compression – wrap a bandage around the injury to support it, going up and down the limb nearly to the next joints to spread out the pressure. .
➡️ Elevate – keep it raised on a pillow as much as possible to help reduce the swelling.
If the pain is not subsiding then take them for an x-ray which is the only certain way to tell if it is fractured. .
A strain can also be a tendon being overstretched, but all soft tissue injuries should be treated with the 4 step RICE method. Some people add an initial P for protecting the injury making PRICE.

I sprained my ankle before Christmas and it took ages to heal properly as I didn't ever manage to sit down and rest it for long! Anyone done the same? 😉
