I started with 3 products about 3 1/2 years ago. I started where I was at and worked with what I knew at the time. I had dabbled in probiotics before thanks to an acupressure therapist but had fallen off once #3#3 came along. All I knew was I wasn’t feeling right and even with momming three boys... I didn't need to feel like this all the time. There was a time when you didn’t see me without a Diet Coke in my hand…when one cracked open as soon I got out of the shower…it was the only way I could even hope to wake up and function. And as soon as that one was done, I’d be cracking open #2 and by 2:00 I was needing #3 in order to make it through the inevitable afternoon slump. But not anymore!! I don't need that to keep me going! It’s funny because I was just talking with someone about a diet pop addiction and the word I used was “freeing”! Being completely done and over pop can only be describe as freedom! It's funny looking back and realizing that going from 2-3 Diet Cokes a day (and that was after working HARD to reduce my intake) to NONE and then to literally gagging when I tried one a while back just because I was curious. Ummm...YUCK! No Bueno!! Well those same 3 products are 10% off until Tuesday. My friends and I that use them, sleep better, look better, feel better, can go at full steam for longer and parent at 110% on the days we should be at 0%. P.S. #motivationmonday ! I've been meaning to post this for a while now, but as I just crossed the 6 months mark, it felt like a perfect time to share. I never understood those people who posted how "going to the gym changed their life" and what not. I always dreaded going to the gym: it was tiring, annoying, I didn't knew what to do and I never felt included on the gym community. But after a terribly unhealthy winter quarter (with a poor diet of junk food, no exercise and reversed sleep scheduled) I knew it was time for a change. And having tried going to the gym several times in the past but giving up within a few weeks, before hitting the gym I figured out the reasons that made me give up before and fixed them beforehand. I reached out to my brother who helped me put together a work out plan. I started easy, focusing on some light work out. I built a schedule around my gym time, blocking it in my schedule as if it was a mandatory class I had to go to. And slowly I started intensifying my healthy habits- doing longer workout sessions, cooking better meals, sleeping at a reasonable time, taking supplements... And no kidding, now I understand : going to the gym HAS changed my life. I am better at time management, I feel more energized and productive in the mornings, I can concentrate better. I feel like Hugo 2.0 But the reason I'm posting this is not to show off - sure, I am hella proud of my improvement and for sticking with it this far - but it is to let you all know that it is possible to overcome all those barriers that make going to the gym consistently difficult. Don't be afraid to reaching out to friends and other gym goers and try and figure out why it hasn't worked for you before. If I can help you out in any way do let me know!
