24 weeks pregnant and my joints won’t allow me to walk more than 20 meters without excruciating pain (SPD) but I can still lift weights 🙃
I have learned to listen to my body in a whole new way and for the first time in my life I actually allow my BODY to tell me when to end my workout rather than allowing my MIND to dictate.
I realize that my body was actually telling me that a 3-hour-workout is not optimal but I would always let my mind have the final saying in when to stop. Now I rarely am able to train more than an hour 5 times a week because my body gives me very clear signs when I’m ’done’. If I push past this point I start feeling really exhausted, nauseous and dizzy which is quite scary when being pregnant.
It’s so important to learn to listen to your body and this pregnancy has definitely helped me in that although that process of actually listening and acting accordingly is taking a lot of my mental energy.
What signs does your body give you when it’s had enough?
Baby your hair it’s ok! It’s natural, it grows like a plant and it’s your decision to cut it or let it bloom 🍃🌷🌺 Be Happy, meditate, imagine, visualize, free yourself and be unstoppable! 🚀🌖 Respect and Love ✌🏾
