"My home is in Heaven. I'm just traveling through this world"
What a General in the body of Christ now gone home to be with Abba. I pray that I will be as bold and unashamed as you were to spread truth to all nations. A Hero and ledgend that will not be forgotten.
Sometimes we forget what God’s promises during tough situations. We freeze. We panic. We stress out.
After Moses died, God told Joshua, “you’re up.” And God gave Joshua all these instructions. I’m pretty sure Joshua was panicking because of all these things God was saying for Him to do.
But God tells Joshua, “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9)
In the verses before this, God was reminding Joshua to be strong and courageous, because He will be with Joshua and the Israelites. And yet, He felt that He had to remind Joshua again. Because maybe Joshua needed words of affirmation. He needed that constant push from God that God would help him.
So if you’re needing that constant push from God to keep going, recite this in your mind. Include it in your prayer. Because as this applied to Joshua then, this applies to YOU today.
Post by Steph: Our hearts and prayers are with Misty and her girls. Her husband, Shane, battled cancer for four years and his services were today. I have had the privilege of doing ministry work with Misty the last few years. As I watched her walk through this journey, I saw a godly lady who came alongside of her husband every step of the way, whether it was caring for Shane, researching nutrition or fighting on her knees. She remained brave and she remained steadfast because she kept entrusting their case into God’s loving hands.
She knew where to draw her strength from for the battle...God’s Word.
She knew were to go for comfort & peace... God’s Word.
She knew where to build her faith & find hope...God’s Word.
This quote by Oswald Chambers makes me think of Misty and Shane: “We all know people who have been made meaner and more irritable and more intolerable to live with by suffering, it is not right to say that suffering perfects. It only perfects one type of person- the one who accepts the call by God.” Misty and Shane accepted the call & their situation continues to bring glory to the God Most High.
God, in this life we are promised to have suffering. Thank you that we will never walk through a trial alone.... You will be standing with us every step of the way. And thank You for Your Word that gives us comfort, peace, & hope. Amen. #beakeeper#verse#truth#scripture#God#Jesus#Jesussaves#faith#Goodnews#ministry#suffering#christian#christians#christianity#hope

'In spite of our theological differences, we remained good friends.' •
This quote from Evangelist Billy Graham's autobiography hits me with a needed, timely, heaviness. These are his words in response to a conversation w/his friend, renowned theologian Karl Barth. It is wisdom. It is purpose above perspective. It is being the Body.
When we make doctrine 2nd to the divine work at hand, God is pleased. Mr. Graham, I feel confident knowing that having looked over your life of "Yes" and the lives you ushered to the altar, God is pleased to have you home.
HOW WILL WE SHAPE THE 21ST CENTURY FOR CHRIST...
As we celebrate Dr. Graham’s home-going I was reminded of his words- “Someday you will read or hear that Billy Graham is dead. Don’t you believe a word of it. I shall be more alive than I am now. I will just have changed my address. I will have gone into the presence of God." #GoodNews#ThisTruthCanBeYours 1-866-899-9673

The Importance Of Right Believing
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32
When things go wrong in our lives, we often ask the question, “What did I DO wrong?” We believe that something we did brought about the bad thing that has happened. Granted, there are consequences to our actions, but what brought about those actions in the first place? It’s our beliefs!
So the question we should really be asking is not, “What did I do wrong?” but “Where have I gone wrong in my believing?” The bad things that we are experiencing today are often a result of the wrong beliefs that we have. Similarly, the good things that we are experiencing today are a result of believing right about the Lord’s grace, love and promises for us.
I pray today that the Holy Spirit will reveal areas of wrong believing in life so that any hindrances to your breakthrough may be removed. Just go to the Lord right now and ask, “Where have I believed wrong, Lord?” And let Him guide you into all truth and show you the way to your victory.
When you know the truth and believe right, you will live right, experience freedom from bondages and walk in the blessings of God!
Right believing always produces right living. #wholeness#joy#betterthanlife#toogoodtobetrue#healing#hope#freegift#gospel#goodnews#grace#gracerevolution#unmeritedfavor#undeservedfavor#mercy#grateful#unconditionallove#forgiveness#nevergoingback#neverbethesame#thankful#Jesus#finishedwork
Your Position In Christ
I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. John 15:5
In this verse, Jesus says, “I am the vine, you are the branches.” He did not say, “I am the vine, try to be the branches.” In other words, He wants us to realize that we are already the branches. We do not have to struggle to become the branches.
As His branches, we only have to abide or remain in Christ our vine. How do we do that? We do that by simply being conscious every day of our position in Christ. Because we have received Christ, we are in Christ and are accepted in the Beloved. (2 Corinthians 5:17, Ephesians 1:6) God accepts us because we are in the Beloved and He is in us. And that is how God sees us today when we come into His presence.
What the devil wants to do then is to get you to focus on your condition instead of your position in Christ. The condition you are facing could be financial lack or deteriorating health. The devil wants you to focus on your condition and forget your position—that you are the righteousness of God in Christ and that you are seated with Him in heavenly places at the Father’s right hand. (2 Corinthians 5:21, Ephesians 2:6) He wants you to forget that you are an heir of God and a joint heir with Christ. (Romans 8:17)
The devil knows that once you focus on your position in Christ, it will give you the power to change your condition and circumstances. John 15:5 says that you will bear “much fruit”. This means that when you pray against any lack, abundant supply will flow. When you pray for healing, sickness will leave.
None of these things can happen by your own doing, but by His life which flows through you. Just as sap flowing through the branches of a vine will cause them to bring forth fruit, His life flowing through you will bring forth a bountiful harvest of provision, healing and miracles. You only need to remain conscious of who you are in Christ! #wholeness#joy#betterthanlife#toogoodtobetrue#healing#hope#freegift#gospel#goodnews#grace#gracerevolution#unmeritedfavor#undeservedfavor#mercy#grateful#unconditionallove#forgiveness
Words Of Grace From Jude
For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. Woe to them! For they have gone in the way of Cain. Jude 4, 11
The epistle of Jude contains many warnings for God’s people in all times. One warning is that we not misunderstand the concept of grace. Are we listening? The book of Jude contains many warnings for Christians in all times.
Jude reveals that “certain men” had infiltrated the Church ( verse 4 ). These men injected deception into God’s Church and had actually rejected Jesus Christ by overturning what He taught! These men taught an incorrect understanding of grace—which made grace into a license for immorality (verse 4 ). In fact, the effect of the men who infiltrated the New Testament Church in the first century is still felt today.
Many try to use the principles of the law to find their way back to grace.
Galatians 5:4 For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace.
Galatians 2:21 I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.
But that form of mixture keeps us from grace.
Ephesians 2:8-9 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.
If you have been, like I used to be, one who has tried to apply the principles of the law to find grace; I encourage you today that God’s grace is greater than the law. The greatest expression of love the Father could provide was sending his Son for us. The greatest expression of love the Son could provide was in laying his life down for us. The greatest expression of love the Spirit could provide is to remain with us forever.
God’s grace is the expression of his love after Calvary. He has come to be with you, forever. #wholeness#joy#betterthanlife#toogoodtobetrue#healing#hope#freegift#gospel#goodnews#grace#gracerevolution
You Are Perfect In God’s Eyes
But this man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God... For by one offering He hath perfected forever them that are sanctified. Hebrews 10:12, 14
God sees you with no flaw, spot or imperfection, so honour His Word and the finished work of His Son by saying, “Amen!” Don’t doubt your perfection in Christ.
To see yourself as being far from perfect is not modesty, but a failure to understand the perfect sacrifice that Jesus has made for you.
The Bible tells us, “For by one offering He hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.” Did you get that? You have not only been sanctified, that is, made holy, but by the same offering of His body, you have been perfected. You are both holy and perfect in God’s eyes!
Your sins have been purged perfectly. Today, Jesus is seated at His Father’s right hand not because He is the Son of God (although that is true), but because His work of purging your sins is completely finished and perfect!
So instead of being conscious of your sins, which is to have an evil conscience (Hebrews 10:22), you can have a perfect conscience, a conscience that is free from the guilt and condemnation of sins.
When you find yourself conscious of your sins, just say, “Thank You, Lord Jesus, for Your wonderful work at the cross. It is a perfect work that has removed all my sins completely. “Holy Spirit, thank You for convicting me of righteousness, not my own, but God’s righteousness given to me as a gift. Keep on convicting me in the days to come, reminding me especially when I fail that I am still the righteousness of God in Christ.” My friend, God sees you perfect without any spot of sin. He sees you covered in the beautiful white robes of His own righteousness. He treats you as a righteous man because that is what He has made you. So expect good things to happen to you because blessings are on the head of the righteous! Tonight’s bible lesson - Joshua 24, esp v.14......are we truly serving God in sincerity and in truth?
Our Servant, Jesus
The Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mark 10:45
Not only was he the servant of his people while he lived on earth, but he will also be our servant when he comes again. “Truly, I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at the table, and he will come and serve them” (Luke 12:37). Jesus gave that as a picture of what he will do at his return.
Not only that, he is our servant now. “‘I will never leave you nor forsake you.’ So we can confidently say, ‘The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?’” (Hebrews 13:5–6). Does this belittle the risen Christ — to say that he was and is and will ever be the servant of his people? It would, if “servant” meant “one who takes orders,” or if we thought we were his masters. Yes, that would dishonor him. But it does not dishonor him to say that we are weak and need his help.
It does not dishonor him to say that he is the only one who can service us with what we need most.
It does not dishonor him to say that he is an inexhaustible spring of love, and that the more he helps us and the more we depend on his service, the more amazing he becomes. Therefore, we can confidently say, “Jesus Christ is alive to serve!” He is alive to save. He is alive to give. And he is thrilled to be this way.
He is not burdened down with your cares. He thrives on burden-bearing, not burden-giving. He loves to work “for those who wait for him” (Isaiah 64:4). He “takes pleasure... in those who hope in his steadfast love” (Psalm 147:11). His eyes “run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him” (2 Chronicles 16:9). Jesus Christ is exuberant with omnipotent service for the sake of all who trust him. Beloved, no matter your need today, let your Savior serve you and bring favor and victory to you, effortlessly, while you rest in his perfect, finished work. #wholeness#joy#betterthanlife#toogoodtobetrue#healing#hope#freegift#gospel#goodnews#grace#gracerevolution#unmeritedfavor#undeservedfavor#mercy#grateful#unconditionallove#forgiveness#nevergoingback
