We are absolutely delighted to announce that we have recently completed teaching our very first Level 2 Fitness Instructor course in partnership with @unistrathclyde in Glasgow.
We truly believe that being part of Strathclyde University's curriculum demonstrates the high standard and real quality we can offer students in the Health and Fitness Industry.
We look forward to this being the start of a great relationship, with many more successful training courses being delivered in the future.
What a fantastic opportunity for the students that join us to gain an internationally recognised qualification alongside their University commitments ✅✅

Did you know, the Glasgow Cathedral is a Presbyterian church and not a Catholic one? :) it's really interesting for me as it was my first time attending service there. And just up the hill, is the necropolis. A very nice place for an afternoon stroll. I wouldn't go at night though. 🤣🤣🤣

Sore bread, stuffy nose and very tired. But I have a new post up on The Monday Project about trying to be more financially savvy this year and four tips that are helping me along ⚡️ I’m on a no spend January and whilst I know the moment February hits I’ll fall down a dark Asos hole, it’s fun challenging myself to do something I know I’ll struggle with ✨
You know when you have had a productive off season when you look back through progress pictures.
First picture was me prepping for the UKBFF Scottish Grand Prix in 2015 and second picture is my current condition 8 Weeks Out from the 2 Bros Pro event in London.
Weight is first picture was around 78kg and second picture weight is sitting at 88kg. Legs are swollen due to a big leg session yesterday but they will look better once all the swelling goes down.
I’ve been aiming to add around 3-4kg stage weight each year whilst trying to keep things in proportion and not look my aesthetics.
It’s easy when chasing more size and mass to lose your shape and proportions and chasing scale weight isn’t always the best method of progression.
I focus on keeping my kcal high in the off season around 5000-6000kcal. I do track in my off season and do a bit of carb cycling too focusing on more carbs on training days and lower fats and then non training days lower carbs with more fats. Protein fairly stable across both days.
Once that is set my main goal isn’t what I see in the mirror and you aren’t to be looking as lean as you usually do bit more so focusing on my training and logging all my lifts focusing on basic principle of overload. Over time these basics and staying consistent will add up to some added lean mass and then the next time you diet back down you have more to show from a productive off season.
Do you track your kcal in the off season? #TheDifference#PhDNutrition#PerformanceNutrition#teampang@phdnutritionuk@extremegymglasgow#Glasgow@preppedandpacked#Aesthetics#UKAesthetics@sfnexpo@masrepsofficial@elitefitnessnetwork#follow#photooftheday#food#fitness#bodybuilding#comp#prep#marcos#flexible#dieting#foodprep#nutrition#bodytransformationcoach#thenextlevel#instagrambodybuilding
"Four of us went and liked it so much we did it twice. First night we had steaks with the best pepper sauce any of us had ever tasted. The young man who served us suggested we should come back the next night to try the best burgers in Glasgow which we did and they possibly were. Highly recommend palomino."
