Good evening 🤗 I had an AMAZING glutes workout today! I did a painful set of hip thrusts: 55kg x 12 75kg x 8 85kg x 6 And then I dropped the weight 35kg x 30 ,having tears in my eyes for the last few reps 😂 Crazy to think not so long time ago I could only do 3 sets of 35kg x10! Strength is increasing and I love it! 💪🏼 My goal for the near future is to hit that 100kg! But the thing I struggle the most is to lift the barbell on my hips up from the floor for the first rep... Any tips?

I have to say it is was actually really good for me, and it’s definitely showed me that I spend my way too much time on my social media which is something I need to be more mindful of. I made a resolution last year to spend less time on my phone and yeah I did cut back more however, I wouldn’t say I’ve gotten there yet. It’s so easy to get caught up in it all and spend hours mindlessly scrolling, which could be time spent doing useful things, especially over Christmas when its family time. BUT- it’s not the new year yet so I can still do it 💁🏼‍♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Anyway, I haven’t gymed since Saturday so I’m happy to be getting in a good workout tonight 💃🏼 legs and some cardio are on the menu 🍑

😓Experiencing back pain during leg day? What does your starting position look like? I’m demonstrating a squat, however, anterior pelvic tilt is bad for any exercise. . 💁🏼‍♀️ “What’s so bad about it? My butt looks good!” I am guilty of this too. It’s one thing taking pictures but living in this posture can do a lot of damage: . ❌ Weak Rectus abdominis, External obliques ❌Weak Glutes, Hamstrings ❌Tight Psoas, Iliacus, Rectus femoris, TFL, Erector spinae . 🙅🏼‍♂️ It can take some time to train yourself out of this position, but trust me it’s possible! R E A L • T A L K Over the past few weeks my training has been hardcore and I have pushed myself to my absolute limit! (Which is amazing!) BUTTTTT My food... yeh not so great 🙈 I’ve eaten a lot of sweets and chocolate 🍫 which has made me feel so rubbish about myself! 😫 tonight I have had to make myself stop and think! ‘Dan seriously no one is perfect! You need to enjoy yourself once in a while! And hey!! It is Christmas!’ And it’s absolutely true!! You see all these amazingly stunning girls on Instagram that have the perfect bodies!! I constantly compare myself to them and stress myself out! But I have to remember that those girls are probably thinking the exact same things as me and doing the same thing! GIRLS! I have been doing dumbbell squats on Thursdays since I already do back squats on Tuesdays. Unfortunately, my grip strength is not even close to my leg strength, but I liked that I felt the exercise more in my quads. I swapped the dumbbell squats out for hex bar deadlifts, and I nearly made my goal of lifting 10,000 pounds in a single session! 💪
