Message from Nicole: "From 95 kg down to 85kg I feel like a whole new person. My life has changed so much over the last year. In July 2017 I signed up to a fitness group that was advertising on my local bss page. I was so scared to join the classes because I hadn’t exercised for over 6 years and I was overweight and really unfit. For the last 6 months I have trained 2-4 times a week and have tried my hardest to stay away from the bad foods although I’m still not 100% with my food (to where I want to be) but that is my goal for this year. Mikaila has pushed me through my good and bad days and has changed my life to the better. She is such an inspiring person and without her I probably would still be the overweight single mother that I was. I still have a long weight loss Journey ahead of me and I can’t wait for what this new year will bring for both me and my daughter. The supplement industry is a huge industry and not every company has ethics..A lot of shops push crap products that they get dirt cheap and resell for high prices. DAY ONE It’s been a long ass day, been up since 4am, feeling the effects of both an intense workout as well as the decrease in calorie consumption. (or possibly just the lack of sugar which I am soooo used to consuming) I am tired, maybe even too tired to feel hungry. But it’s almost time for a protein shake, which I will have to find the energy to force down, I hate drinking them, but the convenience and results almost beg me to literally “suck it up” This morning was upper body, the programme I follow requires that you use 4 different sets of weights for each target area, the max weight I found myself being able to do with correct form and still proving a challenge was 5kgs, a 17th of my weight. SHOCKER! But nevertheless, this is how we get stronger, or how we die of total shame. Sigh Ive decided to start and complete this challenge because, as hard as it may be, nothing could be harder than accepting myself right now, I have gained Ludacris amounts of weight, which I blame on the UK’s AMAZING baked goods (DAMMNNN) Sugar for days! Nothing fits, I live in tights and anything that will cover EVERYTHING, AMEN for Winter. As well as losing all this excess weight, I hope to be toned and defined and HOT. I want to look at myself and feel all kinds of proudness and accomplishment, and I want to feel like a beautiful green and colourful flower garden inside, not a decomposing rubbish dump. I look at all the beautiful woman on Instagram who are fit and strong, and their radiance and inner beauty shines through their form like a unicorns glittery magic dust, and I want me some magic dust. So here we go, cheers (with protein shakes) to day ones’ exhaustion and muscle fatigue, let’s do it all over again tomorrow.
