Have you heard of or had picada sauce before?? It’s described as Catalan-style pesto, usually nut-based with garlic, bread, herbs such as parsley, and other spices. We made a version of picada from @saveurmag which had shaved dark chocolate!! Just a tiny bit, but it added a wonderfully bitter component. The picada was drizzled on top of some charred cauliflower, blistered shishitos, & seared shrimp. This dish was phenomenal🙌🏼
Picada would be wonderful spooned over roasted veg, grilled protein, legumes, grain bowls, soup, toast, and the list could keep going!
