Think about this scenario: It's Sunday and you're thinking about the workouts you didn't do this weekend and all the food you ate that is practically against your religion. You're feeling guilty, but tomorrow is Monday. A fresh start. They say to never miss a Monday, so you plan on going hard in the gym tomorrow. You know, to make up for the past weekend. You are so ready for this! You wake up Monday morning and work knocks you down and you just can't seem to find the motivation to go to the gym. No matter how hard you try. Now, you feel guilty because you missed a Monday. Since you think that you can't stick with anything, you decide you're not even going to try this week, because there's no point. You decide to start up again NEXT Monday and take the week off. Because you gave Monday all your power, you just missed out on 6 days of physical activity. Ouch. So stop giving Monday all your power.
