Shoutout to this strong woman! Julie has really impressed all of us in this Women’s transformation group I’ve been heading at Fit Academy.
When she first started mid-November she had a frozen shoulder and couldn’t abduct/flex it above shoulder level. Yesterday in my small group class I challenged her to do her KB box squat to press with a 13lb Kettle Bell and she was totally unsure about it but 3 sets of 8 later & she still was able to perform it perfectly for the camera 😉🙌🏽
💥 You never know what you can achieve until you challenge yourself & try it 💥
Have to give a shoutout to my team of trainers who also helped Julie get to where she is today- only 4 months later 💪🏽😋
GREAT JOB JULIE!!
(P.S. don’t you love her face at the end 😂)
Happy Tuesdaaaaaay babes 🌝
Aaaaaaber ins Training geht’s heute natürlich trotzdem, deswegen stay motivated guys 🙌🏼😁
Starting Your FITNESS JOURNEY.
Ask yourself why you want to start,
- Better Health?
- Increased Energy?
- Overall Longevity?
- Weight Loss?
Well guess what! No matter your reasoning, YOU DESERVE TO FEEL GREAT & LOOK GREAT!
When I started my FITNESS JOURNEY I was absolutely terrified of the “F WORD”... failure. There were so many times I tried, but failed & I was afraid I’d let myself down yet again...& I was afraid of what others would say if I failed...
GUESS WHAT! I finally found the key to success! As simple as it may seem..you can’t give up! I know it’s easy starting out, you may find it so easy the first week but then you fall off the wagon...BUT the difference this time is YOU GET BACK UP!
💕Have YOU started your Fitness Journey? & if so, what has been YOUR biggest struggle? Let me know in the comments!👇🏼💕
I’ve been critizied several times about how I’m a health and wellness coach, yet practice self love. To some it seems those two are contradictory.... like, how can you want to work on your body AND love it at the same time. I think it comes from this notion in our society that you have to be “skinny” to be happy. If you think that is what I practice, you have me completely WRONG.
What they don’t know is that loving your body does NOT mean giving up on it. Nothing could be further from the truth. I workout because it feels good. I eat clean -most of the time-because it feels good. I also love pizza 🍕 and 🍷 because they feel good too. The thought that we have to hate our bodies to change them is what got us in this self-loathing mess in the first place.
We’re allowed to want to change our bodies AND love them just the way they are. My goal is to always work on myself from a place of acceptance and appreciation, rather than from hate and punishment. My body made and nourished two little miracles. I adore it and am in awe of it. Loving it as it is today means I will love it as it is in a week, month or 10 years to come.
And with that, this health and wellness coach is off to go push play- total body core day 💪🏻 Check out the link in my bio if you want to join the journey with me.
I used to be afraid to do things that would make me stand out. Small things like wearing bright red lipstick or high fashion items because I didn't want to draw attention to myself.. I didn't want people to comment "nice lipstick" with that whole undertone of why the hell are you wearing it secretly behind their comment.. you know what I'm saying? But, what kind of a life is that? Just trying to fit in so that you aren't left behind the pack? It's human nature to not want to feel abandoned.. but here's what I want you to know. If bright red lipstick makes you happy & feel confident & feminine doing it.. then go do it, because who are "they" anyways?
