Five exercises to master the Stairmaster (full article: Cuisique.com)
Stairmaster is a low-impact movement that can strengthen #core, #glutes, #quads and #calves.
Machine on slow setting. Feet shoulder width apart. Squad down and spring up on to next step. Hands on handrail for balance.
40 secs on, 20 secs break. Repeat 4x.
Take the machine two steps at a time. Start on medium setting, hands on handrails.
To work the glutes, step up with right foot and place it on the next step where left foot would usually land. Repeat with left food. Try to repeat for 3 minutes.
Hold 5kg dumbbell in each hand and climb the steps at medium pace. Repeat for 2 minutes.
To work the glutes. Standing sideways, step up with your leading foot and then follow with your other foot. Repeat for 1 minute before standing the opposite way and repeating.
That face is like “I can’t believe I survived it! But here I am!” Later than intended today. I really talked myself into getting out of bed at 5:00am to get it done but this was the first morning that nobody else was awake when my alarm went off and well I took advantage of that! An extra hour and a half in my bed was needed for this Momma! I haven’t been on my game at all this week, later with my workouts, messing up my timed nutrition, and well I had two cookies when I should have only had one on refeed day! I’m human, we all are! Nobody is perfect! BUT... I’m going to work hard for the rest of this week so I don’t go into next a little off balance. .

It's almost "bare arm season" here in NC. 💪 ☀️🌞 So what are some exercises for the shoulders? This upright row is a great one to get the entire shoulder area. I call this one the zipper. Be sure to keep your arms riding in close to your body, like your zipping a jacket. And lead with the elbows, not the hands.
I think I have been stuck in this loop of hoping I can bury my head and just make bad decisions and somehow it will be ok. But I can't do it anymore. No more hiding. No more pretending.
