Hey/salaams all! I’ve recently had a lot of new followers so thought I’d come say hi and tell you a little about myself 🤗
▪️I have been a foodie for a few years now but since having my two babies and being at home, I have some time to really focus on my interests of implementing a healthy lifestyle for us all
▪️my mom taught me how to cook a week before my wedding (5 years ago!) but I still call her anytime I need help with recipes ! She’s definitely my go to person !
▪️my mom just re-taught me how to make rotis today lol. The last time we had a roti making session was 4 years ago. I definitely need to practice !
▪️I used to love sweets and desserts
▪️I still like them but am careful now since having gestational diabetes during pregnancy which puts me at greater risk of developing type 2 diabetes later on in life
▪️my current favorite foods are: rice cakes, almond butter, blueberries, kabobs, dates and coffee
▪️I love kashmiri chai (aka namkeen/noon chai) but don’t have it much anymore bc of the milk in it. ▪️true Kashmiri’s, like my parents, put salt in it and drink it. It’s a Kashmiri thing ✌🏻 for the most part sweet Kashmiri chai is preferred among the masses👌🏻
▪️I love hiking with my family and being active ▪️sometimes I feel like I spend all my time in the kitchen! That’s when I take a good break and do something else 😎

-1 cup unsweetened almond milk
-1.5 scoops Collagen
-2 Tablespoons peanuts
-1 Tablespoon cocoa powder
-2 Tablespoons oats
-1 packet stevia
-6 cubes ice
