Woot woot! Unfortunately, everyday can’t be booty day. So here are two uncommon exercises to hit those neglected muscles in your shoulders and back! For an overall fit physique, it’s very important to hit all muscles in your body. Superset (2 exercises performed back to back with little to no rest) #1 Face Pulls- this exercise hits your rear delts and is one of my favorite shoulder workouts! **Facing a high pulley with a rope, stand with a slight bend in your knee and a straight back. Pull the weight directly towards your face, separating your hands as you do so. At the end of the pull, pause for a half a second then release the weight with control. #2 Standing Lat Pull downs- this exercise is a lat isolator. Unlike pushups and pull-ups, lat pull downs focus solely on your lats. Ladies, the wider your lats, the smaller your waist looks. So if your concern is your mid section, I’d suggest adding this exercise to your routine. ** Stand facing the cable machine with your feet shoulder-width apart. Bend your knees slightly. Lean forward a bit and Reach up and grasp the rope. Keeping your arms straight, pull the rope down toward your thighs focusing on using just your lats as you pull. Hold the pull at the bottom then release with control. With both exercises, make sure you use muscle mind connection to incorporate the correct muscles during the workout. Ok that’s all! Stay strong!
