Well, the sunburns have officially happened. The past two days have been spent running carnivals at a school and church with CEF, where we shared the Gospel with kids all day as we made balloon animals and played games. We used over 600 balloons and had so many good conversations!
You can pray for us as we do our last carnival tomorrow and then spending Sunday with the local church. Praise the Lord that we have been able to rest and have been given energy for our full days!
Highlights from the days (Eli & Lorelei): learning cricket, leading kids to accept Christ, and building relationships with kids! .
Come adventure with Me. God desires for us to walk with Him in intimacy. How do we get there? One major thing is to let go... and allow God to show Himself to you, and lead you to Himself. What is He calling you to do? #dailysteppingout#oregoncoast
“Today is our last full day in Nicaragua and I can honestly say it’s been life changing! My team and I have had amazing opportunities to work with a few different organizations such as I-teams, Young Life and many local churches. We spent a lot of our time with children which I found to be such a blessing! We spent time at a local farm that is being turned into a Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center, and we got to see how God is already working here! God has shown me so much while I have been here. We came to bless others, to show others the love of Christ and to serve but I never imagined they would end up blessing me more! I hope to never forget the colorful houses, all the loud noises of motorcycles and chickens, the sound of kids laughing and most of all I pray I never forget the overwhelming joy I’ve seen and felt here! Nicaragua ha a piece of my heart and I will be back someday!” - @eitakhumphrey (Surf & Photography DTS)

Our DTS director @joshua_palmer prayer for the city today is,
“That all people would experience the person of Jesus. To experience the radical and counter cultural way in which He lived while here on earth. He was and is the living gospel and it was evident in his thinking, his actions and his life while here on earth. Yes, He is King first and foremost but He is also near to us; the crowned jewel of His creation.”
We traveled to PNG with the dream of impacting a nation. We came back home as people impacted by a nation. Every village every tribe, every tongue every family, every mama & papa, every brother & sister became a piece in our learning journey. Through their faith, they taught us how to trust the Creator rather than the created. Through their joy, they taught us to dance in the midst of suffering. Through their humility, they taught us to serve as if we were serving the King of Kings. Through their passion, they taught us to pursue Abba with everything in us. Through their love, they taught us how to live as a family. Most of all, they taught us that the most precious & valuable treasure does not lie in this world, but in the heart. These treasures cannot be stolen or destroyed, desecrated or manipulated. These treasures continue to live on in the ♥️ of people following Jesus! “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” // Luke 12:34 // most PC: @claireeha 🤙🏻#papuanewguinea #png#treasure#ywampng#ywamkauai#dts#outreach#oro#morobe#easternhighlands#madang#travel#southpacific#family
