While "Big IPA Season" rolls on, we wanted to highlight one of our favorite Big IPAs that's available most of the year (and in can form)!
"Dear (insert your name here), This is the best damn DIPA in the world. So if you were even considering sulking today, think again. Our 2x4 Double IPA is the Gold Winner of numerous note-worthy awards, including the Alpha King Championship; two years in a row and counting. You’d be crazy not to drink this. So close your eyes, open up, and experience the mad floral, citrusy, and clean taste of hop talent. If you don’t love it, no…you will. 10% ABV"
Day off on a Monday calls for some celebration! Drinking my dessert tonight with a dessert beer from @stb@stbcbeer Thick Mint is an imperial stout coming in at 10%abv. The pour is a motor oil black with no light coming through and no head. On the nose you get the coffee maltyness and chocolate associated with most stouts but with a refreshing mint on top. This beer smells like a York peppermint patty. The taste on this beer is not as strong as the nose but is still pleasant. You get the chocolate and a little of the mint with a boozieness on the finish. Overall a good beer but I do prefer the @stbcbeer choklat.
This is one of the best sours ever! I don't like brett and I don't usually like sours over 6% but this one makes me reconsider everything I once thought. Cheers to craft beers always challenging the palette. @logsdonfarmhouseales#pecheandbrett#oregon
