So after having two days off plan last week, eating and drinking whatever I wanted I returned home with a 3lb gain ! I've struggled but managed to get my head back in the game and lost those 3lbs putting me back at the weight I was when i last weighed-in ! Had a slight advantage in that I extended my weigh-day to now be a Tuesday ! Aim of at least -1lb this week to hit a stone loss #slimmingworlduk#princessplanning#dontgiveup
To much emphasise is placed on the physical changes associated with healthy eating and exercise- the weight loss, muscle definition, drop a dress size, the number on the scale - and other things are over looked just because they are not obvious and sometimes invisible to the naked eye. 👁
Leading a healthier lifestyle brings changes from the inside out that are invisible to others. How many of you have experienced less ‘brain fog’ when you started eating healthier? Or your energy levels have increased? You have gained confidence? You actually start to like yourself or parts of yourself?
Self love is such an important topic, and one we over look constantly. We all need to learn to love ourselves, and only by loving ourselves will we treat our bodies and mind with the respect they are due. We will feed and nurture them properly as we want the best from them. If we are constantly at ‘hate’ with our bodies we treat it from a place of disgust and do not nurture it, and hence it will ever be what we wish it too. 💫
The first step in your journey of self improvement is learning to love and respect what we have, and then to work on improving it from the inside out. 💕
My challenge to you today is shift our focus from the negative to the positive. Write a list of 10 things you like/love about your body, and why you like/love.
My No.1: I used to hate my thick thunder thighs, now I love them. My strong thighs have helped me complete numerous long distance running events.
Your turn...... comment your first below! 😘
BLOOM where you are planted...oftentimes, if you're unhappy with where you're at in life, you may struggle with this notion. However, there are many things you can do to thrive even in circumstances that are not ideal. First, work on cultivating the right mentality. Try to appreciate the present and accept changes and setbacks. Second, look for opportunity where you can. take risks, make connections, and work your hardest. Last, make the most of each day. Try to be a positive force from one day to the next and, eventually, you will bloom.

The smallest shift in thought, feeling, and habit can unlock our potential. Often, expanding our horizons by opening up to novel experiences and connecting with new people is how we travel deeper into our essence. Who am I really? What is my greatest passion? My ultimate purpose? If we only stick to who and what we know, how can we find out what our true calling is in life? We have to allow and open ourselves up to being in the right place at the right time to hear + uncover the right thing. Many times, we know what that right thing is, but we have yet to internalize it. Then we are fortunate enough to meet insightful people who share their wisdom and help us unify different aspects of our lives. They shed light and help us once again clarify what our values are. We also encounter individuals who are mirrors, reflecting some of our strengths and weaknesses and guiding us to accept ourselves completely. Strolling out of comfort zones is where the magic happens. Sometimes we have to slip through the windows of our hearts on a quest to find our key. To remember or to be reminded that we have always been the keyholder. Turning that lock is so much simpler than we thought. Click. And then the light pours in.
