These two probably thought they were done with me, but then I needed models for the workshop in Yosemite 😉 @_kimw_ and @slackinhigh, words can’t express how much I appreciate you two and how thankful I am to have you in my life. From posing in a wedding dress in front of 20 photographers to convincing me to go out on your highline 800 feet above the valley floor (see my insta stories for more on that - I was terrified!!!) and let’s not forget the epic fort we built in our cabin that last night 😉 this week has been incredible, exhausting, and all the more fun thanks to you two buddies. From spacenets in the desert to alpenglow in Yosemite, I’ll never get tired of photographing you two babes 💕
so I'm a pretty emotional person. it doesn't take much for me to cry. you can catch me ugly sobbing at strangers weddings, church, and military family reunion vids on Facebook. but phew... #thisisus trumps them all. I am totally and completely wrecked 😭😭
I was asked a few months ago to take on the job of shooting @michellediggins and at first I was very hesitant but I'm so happy I agreed to do it. I grew up with Michelle and being a part of her special day meant so much to me and it's helping me bring my career to the next step!
It was easy to take amazing photos of an amazing bride! Thank you Michelle and Rory for allowing me to be a part of your special day 😊
If you’re on the fence about doing a first look, the answer is YES 😍🙌🏻
There is a lot to think about when it comes to a winter wedding. Most of the time, at least lately in Minnesota, it’s been too cold to even take the bouquets outside. When temperatures are too low the flowers wilt within minutes and sometime even seconds. Which means those pretty photos with your bridal party outside and those gorgeous bouquets you spent a lot of money on, can’t be photographed in the winter wonderland outside your window. So make sure to pick a venue that is well lit with lots of natural light and be willing to go outside with or without your bouquet to capture images like this! #themoreyouknow🌈
An old chateau hidden in the heart of Swiss capital, overlooking the clear lake waters. Can a wedding location get any more perfect? Yes! Add the intricate flower pieces scattered all around. Then imagine skillfully arranged welcome zones following each other. From spacious arrival area, taking the guests through the beautiful antique building, into the yard on top of a hill where they can get some refreshments, surrounded by the soft sounds of live music 🎻 . Then down the mossy grey stone stairs to the shadowy forest path, leasing to a peaceful opening decorated with rocking chairs, lots of flowers, swings, tiny lights & curtains. Finally everyone would arrive to a gorgeous tent towering above the lake, filled with candles, lanterns & herbs on top of white wooden tables.

Three more weeks 😍 .
