However going on a lil Menchies date later so that's exciting! (Froyo is my fave treat meal if you didn't know 😉❤️)

10 minute stairs warmup •
Sumo deadlifts 5x8-10
Smith machine reverse lunge - squat 8-10x3
10 Cable kickbacks SS 10 dumbbell curtsy lunges each leg x3
Barbell banded Hip thrusts x15
Banded hip thrusts + abduction x15
Hold 30sec (x4)
10 Dumbbell deadlifts SS
25 Kettle bell swings
20 Adductors SS
20 banded side steps
Burnout 100 banded bridges (Try not to die haha😅💪🏻)
When your shoes are so bright they create a halo 🤩 Woke up and my arms were tired from yesterday’s workout, now I have noodle legs from lower body and the stair master. Those SB hamstring curls killed me @desb___ so thanks for that 😂💜
Leg day at the gym...can already tell I’m going to be so sore 😅 warped the day up with stretching and some foam rolling. Shout out to the awesome fluorescent lighting 😂 had to throw that last picture in there cause addy wanted to show off the booty gains too 🐶 thanks @desb___ for the 8 weeks of killer workouts! The challenge is almost up, and while I’m not where I wanted to be, I know I’ll get there if I stay consistent. Just have to trust the process. At this point my physical gains are not that astronomical; my mental gains though are everything I had hoped for. Instead of focusing on and loving how I look, I’m loving everything my body is capable of now.

We made it to Friday 🙌🏼 This morning I did @desb___’s leg workout she sent out 😅 & squeezed in some shoulder exercises. Happy HUMP day cuties! Ya girl has been on the struggle bus lately. Literally drowning in nursing school 😫 I know I say it all the time, but literally I’m sooo drained. Just wanted to thank my girl @desb___, the @dbftfitguide community, and the other ambassador babes for providing such an amazing support system for me throughout my first semester in nursing school. Soooo freaking thankful for each and every one of them. They push me, support me, motivate me, inspire me, love me.... the list goes on. Back on the @pescience preworkout train since it got delivered yesterday. I’m still not used to how caffeine makes me feel but I definitely needed it to get through @dbftfitguide chest/back today! 😄
Workout Wednesday ➡️ HIIT Style 👊
Swipe & Save this one and I promise you won’t regret it🔥 I love adding this HIIT Circuit in after an upper body day to really get that heart rate up!
Perform the circuit 4 times through 40 seconds on with a 10 second rest between moves:
1️⃣BANDED IN-OUT SQUATS: For these pick a band that has enough resistance so you feel the burn but does NOT cause your knees to buckle inwards! Keep the band right above you’re knees and jump between narrow and wide stance staying in squat position
2️⃣PLANK TAPS: In plank position alternate bringing one arm up to “tap” your shoulder. For these the KEY is to keep your HIPS STEADY!! Engage your core so your hips are not rocking back and forth
3️⃣STEP OVERS: For these keep your body centered over the step and make sure you’re tapping the step with both feet as you go over it
4️⃣LAWN MOWERS: Switch arms halfway through the 40 second work period. Make sure you’re squeezing your glutes at the top of this!

I seriously say this all the time, but I can't even begin to explain how this fitness community has changed my life! I'm so glad I decided to invest in myself and reach out to a coach (@tayraefit ).
TBH the picture on the left of my #facetoface transformation was not from the beginning of my fitness journey. It was from my vacation in August, which was only 3 months into my fitness journey. I was starting to lose a little weight in my face. The picture on the right is from a couple weeks ago, which is 5-6 months later! I haven't really looked at a face to face comparison, but 😱😱
PROGRESS TAKES TIME. I'm guilty of wanting progress right away. I've learned the hard way that there is definitely NO QUICK FIX. I will forever be an advocate for weightlifting and macros. I'm seriously so excited thinking about how my body will transform in the next 5-6 months!👏🏼🙌🏼💪🏼🤗
Oh by the way, from June-now, I've eaten ALL OF THE FOOD. I have not restricted carbs or fats. I have not only eaten whole foods . I have treated myself many many times, yet I still was able to make progress. I've literally NEVER been happier with where I am in my life. I'll say it a million and one times... THIS IS A LIFESTYLE, NOT A DIET. And anyone who tells you differently, or frowns upon your lifestyle choice, can go poop themselves 😂💩
