I hit my previous goal today 315x3 on squat. Time to set new goals🤑. For some reason my first rep during the PR lift was super mispositioned, but the last two were good. Didn’t film it, but definitely going to start filming lifts to document them. Fun while it lasted, now back to studying🙃.
Form finally on point. DeadLift is quickly becoming my favourite exercise. This was a peak set today and where I hit a PR of 110kg for 6, and pretty easy. 3 plate 1 rep max isn't far away at all but I'm looking past that to 4 plates by the summer. Let me know what is your favourite exercise is and why? I love the DeadLift as it recruits so many muscles allowing for strength and size gains across the posterior chain.
We all come from somewhere. Growing up I was always usually the skinniest kid in school for most of my life. No matter what I tried, I never could break out of the habit. Even though I never showed it, I was always self conscious about my body especially when it came to being at the beach. I was 18 years old weighing under 110 when I first entered in college back in 2012. It wasn’t until that summer of 2013. I decided to change my life around and start going to the gym. When I first started I thought I knew everything, but that wasn’t the case. While I did make progress, it wasn’t that significant. I was always in shape, but I never really achieved the fitness goals I’ve always wanted. Towards the end of 2015 that’s when I made true progress, that’s when I started looking at what I was eating, how my body reacted to different workouts and supplements, also changing up my style from when I first started. Now looking at myself in the first 2 months of 2018 sitting at a comfortable 140 at 23 years old and low body fat, and I feel like I’m in the best shape of my life. Finally seeing the progress I want to make as well as the kind of goals I envisioned myself having back in 2013. If I can do it, anyone can. Just remember the only person stopping yourself from achieving your goals is you #fitness#motivation#goals#dedication#gym#vscocam#gymlife#gains#pushthelimit
