Los Angeles (TST) —There’s big NBA All-Star Celebrity Game news the day before Team Lakers and Team Clippers face off at the Verizon Up Arena at the Los Angeles Convention Center: #Jus#JustinBieber is going to compete again.
The 23-year-old artist last played in the Celebrity Game back in 2011, also in #LA, and he took home the MVP award with eight points and four assists.
Bieber may need a more dominant performance to win #MVP again. The 2016 MVP, Arcade Fire’s Win Butler, and the 2017 MVP, NBA impersonator Brandon Armstrong, had double-doubles last year — and they’ll both be playing again this year.
Perhaps Bieber will score more after playing pickup in a full Steph Curry uniform in Australia last March and playing pickup at the Venice Beach courts last February.
Also, just last year, Bieber played in the NHL All-Star Celebrity Game where he was crushed by Chris Pronger. Fortunately for Bieber, you’re not allowed to do that in basketball.
