You don’t always need to lift heavier to get stronger… The human body works as a system of levers. When you know how to manipulate this system to your disadvantage things get interesting… and pretty damn hard. In the videos, I’m holding a tuck front lever and challenging my static strength by increasing the “resistance arm” – the length and relative gravitational force produced by my lower body. The longer the resistance arm, the more resistive force my upper body and core (which are “the force arm” 💪🏻) have to counteract to maintain this tuck position. Vid #1: easiest; holding torso parallel to ground with knees tucked Vid #2: harder; increasing resistance arm by sticking one leg out at a time Vid #3: strugg; increasing load produced by resistance arm by trying (key word- trying) to stick both legs out at once In summary - high school Physics applies to #gainz 🤓. The knee tuck push up. A great full body exercise that incorporates “sliders" for lower extremity hip movement along with a push up following the slide. The sliders can be used to add a new dimension to your workouts. Here are the dos ✅ for the knee tuck push up. . . ✅ - Place the sliders on the front of both feet. Once in a full push up position, slide feet upwards bringing both knees up towards your chest . Be sure to stay controlled throughout the torso and maintain a relative neutral spine when flexing the hips. Only bring knees up as far as you feel comfortable. Range of motion of hips will differ from person to person. While keeping torso upright, bring feet back to start position - then perform a push up leading with your chest to the ground (not your hips). Repeat for desired number of reps and sets based on your goals. . . 🐥 - I am a big advocate of the sliders to be included in an exercise routine. They are extremely versatile and can be used in a variety of ways. Exercise sliders can be found on amazon for roughly 10 dollars. This particular exercise will hit your chest, triceps, core, and hip flexors all in one complete movement. Let me know if you have any questions in the comments! . .

Com fortalecimento, estabilidade, ativação muscular ou controle motor? Primeiramente é importante saber que esses termos são usados como sinônimos, porém, são complementares e como LPF é um exercício global ele acaba desencadeando todos esses princípios. O controle motor envolve a forma como o sistema nervoso central organiza músculos em movimentos coordenados, a informação sensorial é usada para selecionar e controlar o movimento, e os padrões de movimento são influenciados pelas percepções. Ambas, estabilidade e fortalecimento, são resultado das forças musculares e dependem da ativação muscular em tarefas específicas para acontecer. A estabilidade para agir, precisa de boa ativação das forças.👌🏻 O fortalecimento se refere a aumentos na produção de força, que vão interferir na estabilidade.
