You eventually learn you didn’t have it as bad as you think once something is taken away from you not by choice.
I worked my butt off for 3 weeks straight to then finally have a day off, ironically I became sick. Forcefully having 3 days off work & training absolutely killed me. I felt lazy, upset, not myself at all. All I wanted to do was escape home, have energy and run back to the gym.
You might get tired of daily routine & work.... but honestly, what would we do without it?
Appreciate what you have and work hard for what you want. Don’t think life is a chore. No one forces you into a routine or a job role. You chose it, so be the best at it!
So today class went longer than expected and I REALLY didn’t feel like going to the gym. No specific reason I just really didn’t want to go. But I got home, ate my meal, got my @steelfitusa pre-workout and BCAAs ready and told @mnchfit to pick me up on his way. I drank my pre, got all the energy I needed, applied guns of steel, and destroyed my workout. I’m so happy I decided to go. 😈

Today I squatted 145lbs for the first time for 6 reps. After finishing the rest of my workout I proceeded to complete a HIIT workout on the stairs (meaning I ran).
I wouldn’t put my seal of approval on something unless I truly loved it. And guys... I LOVED this preworkout.
I had no jitters, no tingling skin, no racing heart beat. I’ve tried plenty of supplements but NOTHING compares to this. I felt high in energy and I was sweating like crazy.
I could’ve sworn I’d be able to lift any and everything in the gym today if I wanted to.

The Craisin Energy balls I made last week were REALLY yummy, but a bit more calories than I prefer for myself right now when every calorie counts at 119 cals a ball. I revised the recipe this week for myself by adding unsweetened powdered peanut butter 6 tbsp (instead of regular nut butter), 1/4 c low sugar craisins, 1/2 c old fashioned oats, 1/4 c unsweetened shredded coconut, water to texture (about 5 tbsp), a packet of stevia, and pinch of salt. Now, 54 cals each.....and still pretty damn tasty! #macrofriendly#mealprep#competitionprep
