Woke up to being heckled online and finished the day filming a new program for all of my favourite biz owners joining #highendhustlers next week in the sweetest #airbnb in town. Never a dull moment in this ride of entrepreneurship. I’ve learnt to take the good with the bad, the lovers with the haters, and most of all, today I’ve learnt to get my hair done more often - because it’s so noticeably different it’s kind of skyrocketed my engagement 😂 Kudos @edwardsandcobyronbay you did me proud 🙌🏼
Great workshop yesterday hosted by @plasticfreenorthdevon with special guest Adam Hall of @surfdome - practical solutions to help us all reduce plastic in our businesses. A range of industries with lots of different problems and great tools to help both in the studio and inform our clients for the future. Feeling very inspired to continue making sure we're doing good! Nobody's perfect, but we can all try a little harder, demand better solutions from suppliers, cut down where we can and spread the message a little further.
I’ve really loved witnessing @_clairebaker_’s menstrual cycle journey. She’s even saved each day to her stories via her profile. The insights Claire shared were spot on.
The highs and lows of energy, emotions and connectedness that we go through during a cycle is one of key reasons why I started my business. Working 9-5 Monday to Friday on an ongoing basis just never really did it for me. Rarely are we productive for 8 hours a day but it also never took into consideration where I would be at in my cycle. There are just some days or afternoons (or mornings!) that are needed for self care. And I’m able to time-manage that myself.
Today was Day 25 for me. Motivation was at a low point this morning but once I got myself to a lush cafe to work at for a couple of hours, I found my stride. Tonight has been all about slow walks, deep stretches and a nourishing meal...Day 1 is close by.
Hope your day was whatever you needed it to be with the energy you had available. Here’s to not pushing but finding the flow always.
Thursday musings. Birthday got me thinking about gifts.
Besides my wedding rings this is my most treasured piece of jewellery.
After my brother died at the tender age of 20, my parents told me that he had left me some money but that there was a condition attached to it. He had left strict instructions that I was only to spend it on jewellery.
I was only 17 at the time, had never had a budget like that, and remember feeling totally overwhelmed and very grown up. I’m pretty sure it took me hours of wandering around the mall and I’m glad I picked something tasteful and timeless as the rest of my taste was very questionable at that age.
I still adore this necklace and earring set and wear it on almost every special occasion.
I sometimes wonder how my brother knew to handle his impending death with so much poise. I have well surpassed him in age now and when I look at the person I was when I was 20, I’m blown away by Matt’s calm clarity that he had when planning his own funeral, how his money should be used, and the legacy he wanted to leave. He was intentional about everything and it still strikes me that the older brother I often didn’t take seriously could face his own death with so much wisdom. There was nothing we didn’t talk about so I knew his flaws, struggles and weaknesses probably better than anybody. Despite all of those things, I can truly say I admire his true contentment and peace even laying in bed knowing he would die any day. On my journey to contentment this year, I’m glad he gave me a close-to-home example. Even if it’s taken me until now to fully appreciate it.
It's incredible, the sort of doors that open up for you when you put yourself out there and stay true to who you are.
Two months ago I was walking around with my head in the clouds, dreaming of the ideas that I'll turn into a reality "one day" . Today, I am working with a DREAM client whom I've been admiring ever since I stepped foot onto the digital scene of websites and social media. I'm unbelievably grateful and just wanted to take a moment to pause and reflect on how far I've come in such a short period of time, because gosh it can be overwhelming!! It may not seem like much to anyone else, but to me it's exactly where I want to be at this point in my life, and it just goes to show that we have the power to change the direction of our lives.
Forgive me if this comes across as braggy, because it honestly, truly isn't my intention to boast. I wanted to come up here and say that anyone who wants to throw their hands up in defeat, anyone hesitating with fear to take a step forward, anyone who desperately wants to make a change but feel powerless as to how to actually do it, DON'T GIVE UP. I firmly believe that there's a special place in this world reserved just for you. Sure it may take a little time and a bit of work, but it's entirely up to you - go out and find it!

Aaaand, we are open! I got up in the dark at 6:20am this morning (which is indecent) and opened the sales cart for our flagship program, Hustle & Heart! Always exciting and nerve wracking in equal measures. 😬
However it’s been a great first day with a quarter of places already gone. 🎉 This is a small group business training and coaching program with one-to-one time and feedback from me on homework, hence why the limited numbers. Plus, I’ve purchased many online programs that were so big, it was easy to get lost and overwhelmed in them (and we don’t want that!) If you:
* Want to work for the love *and* for the money
* Are ready to change your attitude to money - so you can make far more. * Need a simple, repeatable system to keep your leads and inquires coming.
* Want to increase your clarity and self-confidence whole minimising procrastination, self-doubt, and indecision
* Are looking for a community of like-minded kin

...and the sunlight hits my eyesss. 🎶🎶 Yeah, not done with songs and calligraphy. I’m having too much fun studying flourishing too. Here’s a WIP on top of one of my favorite galaxy paintings that my friend made for me! (Painting galaxies is another goal for sure. 🤔✨)

It is well with my soul. If you watched my stories or live in NYC, you know that it was 74° in New York City today, and it was f***ing glorious. I’m feeling refreshed and re-inspired, and I’m excited to be jumping back into my planning and design work after taking time off this afternoon to enjoy the sun in the City. 🌞
Does anyone else doodle while taking notes or is it just me?! 🤔...who remembers this character?? #throwbackthursday
Can you tell we’ve got a thing for pink at the moment? 💗 Isn’t it strange (& so cool) how your favourite colours change. The reasons behind favourite, & least favourite, colours was how Chroma began. —
As a young child for me it was ALL about pink before a tomboy stage had me loving blue. For a while it was purple & lilac before years of a grey & navy obsession. Right now it’s all about red & pink. 🌈
What’s your favourite colour? & is there a reason why? —
