Today is my #selfcare day
I normally have a Thursday off where i try not to do much but take time to care for myself. After a full week of crazyness I try and keep this day a free one. (please note; this normally doesn’t happen to often, appointments, work, recreating new thing, chores or getting shit done) when it works out im SO grateful 🙏🏼
I slept in, meditated, journalled, body love practice, cuddles with my mya 🐶, researched for my travel vision board, made a tonic, walked barefoot outside (ground yourself peeps 🌿) now laying and about to dive into my book (5 love languages, amazing book if you want to know how to connect take your relationship to the next level) and you might ask what is installed next? A movie maybe, more puppy cuddles, a killer workout, an Epsom salt, essential oil & flower petal infused bath (haven’t try them before? They are the bomb, you seriously feel like a goddess), eat some nourishing foods, some baking maybe some bliss balls or a raw cheesecake, and definitely a facemask 🌚
Its bloodly important that we spend atleast one day doing activities that truly light our soul up. Try and keep a day free once a week, once a fortnight to do some self love practises. It allows for reconnection, space and flow. It allows you to stop doing things that don’t serve you. Try it yourself and see how connected and grounded you feel this time next week. 🌸

Saying this because I know someone needs to hear it: last week on my bday I had one of my very favorite, closest family members tell me “you don’t know what you want in life”, and “let’s see how long this will last”
For a brief moment I searched myself and wondered if that was true?
Questioning myself because the beliefs I’ve formed from childhood are that family knows best, family wants the best for you and family will always support you in your dreams.

I love my family so much and there was a time where I would accept anything they said about me/to me but I realized that is when I stayed the same, stayed a person I did not like to be.
I won’t lie and say it’s easy to stop listening to that, but I HAVE no choice. My days are filled with enough challenges and
VERY CAREFUL about who & what I allow to pour into me because it takes a lot more work to clear that bad energy out than to avoid it altogether
I feel free knowing the only doubts and fears I’m smashing are MY OWN. This journey is not to PROVE anything to anyone, This journey that I’m on for myself is not for the people who want to “throw rocks” at me. This is for the ones who want to come along 🧘🏽♀️
