Today has been incredible! We landed in Kasane, north of Botswana at midday today and headed off to the @chobe_bakwena_lodge which is aaaamazing 😍 we have our own little family ecolodge which overlooks the Chobe river and Namibia! Unbelievably nice- I feel so lucky!
This afternoon we went on a river cruise and I felt like I was on David Attenborough... we saw elephants play fighting, hippos basking in the river, monkeys being mischievous and we also went a little bit too close to a large croc!
Feeling so blessed to be here. Being surrounded by nature is truly the best feeling, especially when you live in a busy city such as London.
Here's to adventure✌🏼🐒
A young royal on his way to becoming a king in Botswana's Chobe. Did you know that only about 1 in 2 lion cubs make it to adulthood, depending on their pride and ecosystem? There are only an estimated 20,000 lions left across Africa but with increasing human-lion conflict, loss of habitat, trophy hunting and poaching, this number is becoming worse. They have vanished from 90% of their historical range and are now extinct in 26 countries. This is not okay and we will not let this magnificent animal be lost on this earth on our watch! Head to africancatproject.org to help us protect and conserve the most iconic animal on the planet! 🦁
Lite innblikk i safarihelga vår.
This is one way to mow your grass. We came across a herd of at least 100 Cape buffalo grazing the flood plains in @chobe_national_park. It was a beautiful site to see. .
