Movement VLOG #100: Parkour has never been about the end results with me, even though I tend to think that it does and as a result be self critical at what I produce. I realize as I train more and more (often in private), that other than the drive to improve I have no specific goals. I just want to be the best possible version of me and its that path that drives me to push myself. Meditation and train. Training and meditate. While it wont amaze many people I’m pretty stoked that my confidence with bars and lache swings have improved to the point where I’m able to trust the process better. Theres something primal (and fun) about swinging off bars like an animal. Included is a lot of the lifting and conditioning I’ve been doing over the winter to really be primed for this seasons warm weather. Theres no mirrors at the gym I train at, so I started taking video to check my form and posture. Doing so has produced its own favorable kind of improvements (and enjoyment) on a less exciting facet of my training.
