Yesterday my brother, Owen and myself met this older woman who had a message for us all. She was 85 years old, didn’t take any vitamins, drank lots of water, and walked miles to and from the grocery store with the heaviest bags, but she believed in herself and it kept her going. We gave her a lift home and my brother said “These bags are even heavy for me how do you carry these all of the time” she repeated “Well I am strong, I have always been strong, I was in the airforce when I was younger and I know how strong I am.” Of course I had to throw in “well that is the true power of a woman” and she said “it sure is” while she gave me highfive. When she was getting out of the car she looked at me and said “I am going to say a prayer for you, thank you very much.” I don’t think she realized how much of an impact that 5
minute car ride with her and her story of her strength had on me. ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOURSELF because believing in yourself, your personal power and strength can help you get through some of the toughest times in life. If for some reason you forget how awesome you are I am here right now to remind you, HEY YOU, YEA YOU! YOU ARE AWESOME AND I BELIEVE IN YOU, YOU SHOULD TOO. 🌈💜
Day 6️⃣ of 80 Done! WooHoo
And I thought leg day was hard! Cardio Flow is no joke! 😰😰 #Exhausted
Thankful for tomorrow ... Rest Day 😀 🌟 The task ahead of you is never greater than the strength within you!
Something I often see at the gym are people constantly worrying about trying to hit the heaviest numbers on exercises. They bench press 225 for 4 reps, but have a lagging chest. The reason for this is that they don't incorporate high reps into their routine. It's great to try to hit the heaviest numbers, but hitting a good amount of reps is also essential. This is going into more of hypertrophy which is important for growth! To change up your routine try this out! For example, today I did a barbell curl of 20 pounds for 50 reps and definitely felt the burn!
I never understood why when I’m the most beat up and tired I’m always at my strongest. 😂💪 #405
