GOLDEN MILK LATTE!
This is my favouriiiiite winter drink! It has immune boosting properties and so many health benefits (ex. anti-inflammatory). I actually drink this every other night before bed so I thought I’d share. 😂 ☟This is my favourite combination:
Unsweetened Almond Milk
Creamed Honey (Sub with Maple Syrup if Vegan)
Some of you might be like …black pepper? Wtf? But the black pepper actually helps absorb the nutrients of the turmeric in our bodies! And there’s something about creamed honey that just makes everything taste that much better. Enjoy <3
Ps. Make sure to heat it on medium-low heat for ~5-10 mins, then bring to boil at the last minute to make it all foamy.
If a great chef was invited to a holiday party, she would bring along this beautiful, creamy appetizer. Your turn to be that great chef. #YouCanDoThis 👍🎄 Recipe in our bio.

GIVE ME FIBRE 💪🏼
I’m all about FIBRE these days. I’ve been doing a lot of research about incorporating more fibre into my diet! There are SO MANY benefits of eating a high fibre diet. Women are supposed to eat between 25 and 35 grams of fibre daily!
There are so many ways to incorporate more fibre into your diet and my FAVE way is adding chia seeds or flaxseed meal to my recipes! For example, instead of breadcrumbs I used flaxseed meal to up the fibre factor of my meatballs I made last night! Add some wild rice and fibre rich veggies and my lunch bowl today had about 8 g of fibre in it!
Look for high fibre fruits and veggies like, avocado, dark leafy greens, berries, apples, banana, and exotic fruits (like my favourite persimmons). Legumes and whole grains are some of the richest sources of fibre!
SO WHY FIBRE?
Fibre is the part of carbs that cannot be digested.
It helps to keep everything regular 😏. It adds bulk to food without added calories which help to keep you full.
It boosts your metabolism.
It slows digestion which helps to keep your blood glucose levels steady for more sustainable energy.
It absorbs toxins in the blood which then get eliminated through the digestive tract instead of your pores!
It is a prebiotic that plays a vital role in GUT HEALTH - and you know I’m all about that. *Ps I track my fibre intake with the My Fitness Pal app.
Happy fibre eating peeps! #bitchininthekitch#fibre#morefibre#ffa#ffactor #ffactor #sustainableenergy
