Some of my favourite photos from a recent mini break to Durleston Country Park, Swanage and RSPB Arne. I've still got lots more to look through, I took about a 1000! So you may see some more favourites soon. Or if you'd like to see all of the photos, pop over to my facebook page, KateBirdArt ðð ð¶ð¾
Into the woods at Arne @rspb_love_nature with my kids and my lovely Mum, climbing trees and hide and seek. Feeling connected, to the earth, and to the 3 of the most important people in the world to me, my boys are the ð of my eye. Taking a breath at the end of the holidays when itâs a bit quieter and they can run free.
It got me thinking, love yourself, love your family, hold them a little tighter and for a little longer than you need to. Share kindness and use compassion everywhere you go, even to those who donât deserve it, they are the ones who need it most.
Live today in this moment, that doesnât mean donât plan or look forward but grounding yourself in the moment gives you the ability to respond rather than react and as we donât know what the future holds this is what will make you emotionally agile.
Stop telling yourself to be positive all of the time, sometimes you donât feel that way and that is ok, recognising how you feel is important, allowing yourself to feel all your emotions is important to mental well-being, just donât stay with them, allow them to go.
Love all the people in your life with vulnerability, let them have you. yes, you run the risk of being hurt, but that is just a lesson learnt let those people go on there way. You also run the risk of having connections that light you up, itâs worth it.
Your happiness is your responsibility, do something however small today that makes you happy, then pay that forward with kindness to someone else.ð
