I take my measurements & weight every week, as my own “check-in” with myself. I don’t stress over the scales or really care if the numbers go up once I’m feeling happy, healthy & know that I’ve been as consistent as possible with my own training & nutrition. “Checking in” is useful as a motivation tool & also to help pinpoint what’s working for you or whether you may need to tweak your diet or training going forward in order to achieve your desired results.
A phrase I heard used recently in relation to striking a balance with exercising regularly & eating right as part of your lifestyle is “Consistently Moderate”, & I love it.
One of the most common questions I get asked is “what’s the best plan or program, what would you recommend for me?!”, & the answer is simple: One that you enjoy, that you will adhere to & be consistent with.
People are busy, with families, work & life in general. It’s not realistic to presume we can all prioritize training 5x p/week & give every session 110% with nutrition being completely on point every day. Life happens. Shit happens. Aim to allow yourself 3 hours a week for training, & give each 1hour session YOUR best at that time. Strive to make small tweaks & amendments to your current diet that will become habitual & a part of your daily routine.
The key to any sort of progress or results is CONSISTENCY. Find what works for you, keep it simple, keep it going & build on it. 💪🏼😁 ——————————————

There are a lot of sacrifices I’ve had to make being stationed overseas over the past four years, and missing opportunities like being there for my sister as she picks out her wedding dress is one of biggest and hardest to miss. Even though I was FaceTiming my mom when she tried on “The One”, my heart was so full and happy to see her look absolutely beautiful in the moment. (Aka I ended up crying like a baby seeing her in the most perfect dress! 😭)
I wish I could be there throughout every single detail planned for your big day, but I promise I’ll make it up to you when I come home in September to stand by your side. Even though you picked the day after my birthday, it only makes it more special. ❤️Thank you for being the best big sister I could ever ask for, always having my back, and supporting me with all my goals and dreams. Make sure to take a closer look at the people surrounding you. Do you share the same values? Do they appreciate who you are? Do they support you as you are? Are they honest with you? Do they love the little silly things you love to do with no reason because it makes you happy or do they get uncomfortable or even ashamed if you are a little different than the 95% of humans out there? 💛 I let the people around me just be who they are. And people often find it suspicious that some things don't bother me 😂 but you do you, I do me.
And if I don't like what you do, I'll let you know or distance myself from those people. 💛 make your loved ones feel comfortable to just be who they are
💛 be honest and bold enough to say what you think 💛 support each other
💛 distance yourself from people who wanna change you because they don't love what you love
💛 help your loved ones to become stronger & more who they want to be & reach their goals
We all need people. Everyone. Also the ones who think they can do it all alone or those who think they better do it on their own because all the others don't get it.
We need people around us, like we need air to breath.
Never underestimate the power of good souls around you.

Настолько насыщенная неделя, что даже не выложила отчёт с нашей вчерашней тренировки по стретчингу😻P.S. на студию внимание не обращать, в следующий раз будет другая🙈Главное что девчонки хорошо потянулись, мы наметили план действий, погрелись, посмеялись и 1,5 часа пролетели как 15 минут🤷🏼♀️Если вы тоже хотите сесть на шпагат или просто улучшить свою гибкость, - пишите, места ещё есть)))
