Weekends are for lazy lunches. It doesn't get much easier than this.
One of the staples in our kitchen is avocado. Everyone in our family loves it and I find as long as I have some avocado I can whip up something delicious in a jiffy that will satisfy everyone. It might not be avocado for you, but if you can make sure you have lots of your healthy 'go to' fruits and veggies in the fridge your much more likely to make a healthy choice than if you are looking at all foods that don't get you excited or take some time to cook. Some of our other fresh staples are banana, paw paw, mango, carrot, cucumber and capsicum.
Quinoa salad ...some may even say "super salad" 🙄😂. Tabouleh inspired, refreshing and packed with good for you ingredients... this is heathy eater's dream.
Once quinoa is cooked I prepare the dressing consisting of olive oil, lemon juice, ginger, garlic, turmeric and tiny bit of honey. Then throw in any vegetables you can find in your fridge: cucumber, broad beans, cabbage, red pepper, pomegranate. You can't go wrong 😜
This simple recipe is delicious hot, as a warm protein packed side dish, or cold for work the next day

You guys already know me and my sweet tooth 🙊 I was craving for some berrylicious cake for breakfast and this is the result. I had some fresh berries in the freezer and just gave them on top of the cake base. Finally some cacao nibs and mint leaves after baking and then... Enjoy!!!🍇😍 What are your plans for today??? Cake baking? 😄
Mocha Smoothie ❤ --1 short black (or 2 if you love coffee 😍)
- 1/3 cup raw cashews
- 3 fresh dates
- 1 Tbsp raw cacao
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup filtered water
BLEND TILL SMOOTH
add 2 cups ice and blend till smooth and frosty ❄❄❄ Serve! 🤗
