💢5 WAYS TO IMPROVE YOUR SQUAT💢 #fixitfriday
1. Knee Breakers
Great way to improve ankle mobility. Keep your knees directly over your toes and maintain an upright position. You’ll feel the front portion of your shin be n fire if you lack some of the necessary muscles
2. Depth squat - Bottom to Top
A great variation to help improve pelvic floor function and eliminate a buttwinking issue if you have one! You should notice improved torso position and squat depth!
3. Goblet Squat with Pulse
Here we work with a knee friendly squat variation that helps with core activation from a distance position. Great for working on squat form and depth!
4. 3 Point Groin Stretch with Thoracic Rotation
The exercise is great for those whose knees may cave in due to tight groin/adductor muscles. Adding the Rotation opens the upper back up if you’ve been stiff and can create a deeper stretch in the groin!
5. Squat Roots with Overhead Reach
Here we get a lot of bang for our buck. You create an isometric warm up for the squat position, you also get a groin and hamstring stretch. Great for a warm up and working on squat form/depth. Make sure to keep your back straight and feet flat.
