Weird! I felt like I wasn’t really peaking during #BodyCombat much today although my overall cal burn was on par with some past sessions. Had a different instructor tonight who had to stop a couple of times. Also I got called out to reception because my car needed moving, and I kept fiddling with my FitBit band because it kept coming lose. So all in all my concentration wasn’t 100% even though I felt pretty energised! What a strange hour. PREP UPDATE 5 WEEKS POST SHOW __ Stage weight: 86.4kg Current weight: 96kg flat, however weighed in at 98kg last week. __ Is this too much weight gain post show? Yes is my honest answer. __ Was it because I fell off plan? No is the honest answer I have hit EVERY note. __ Things have been moving VERY well in terms of strength progression, something which I am really focussing on as bodyfat creeps up. __ Realistically the amount of bodyfat I’ve gained isn’t as bad as it LOOKS. Bodyfat distribution hasn’t really caught up with my real weight at the moment. Vascular legs and abs and then am stuck with a barrel of fat around the midsection. I expect this to distribute a little better over the coming months. __ I will be holding off gaining anymore weight for the next few months and hoping to hover around 95/96kg for a little recomposition. __ My calories were ramped up VERY (5500) high post comp. __ Current kcals: 3500 Carbs: 440-450g Protein: 260-270g Fats: 80-85g __ Have been trying to bring my weight down so something a little respectable while being able to fuel myself properly to really reap this first mesocycle post comp. __ I can also now say I am officially coaching myself into this LONG off-season.
