In preparation for the upcoming, Feb 24th, celebration of Bruce Brown’s legacy and contribution to surf culture. @surfingheritage would like to showcase the other works of Mr. Brown, besides “The Endless Summer”. Today, we begin with Brown’s first film “Slippery When Wet”. Originally, a promotional film for Dale Velzy and featured the so-called “Velzy Shop Team”. The film tracked the exploits of such surfing legends as: Henry Ford, Del Cannon, Dewey Weber, and Kemp Aaberg. In the film, there is quite an epic duel between Aaberg and Weber. Also, who could forget “Mook’s” day, at Trestles, and an epic soundtrack from Mr. Bud Shank. A fitting start to such an iconic film career!
Sourcing about a dozen plumbing fixtures for various baths similar to this. There is a time and a place for classic and then in the corner of your eye you catch a beautiful ✨rose gold✨ faucet and can’t remember what you were doing there in the first place. What was I saying? 😉 #slipperywhenwet#jkinteriorliving | 📸 @raquellangworthy.photo
