The team gave expectant women a recording to play several times a week during their last few months of pregnancy, which included a made-up word, "tatata," repeated many times and interspersed with music. Sometimes the middle syllable was varied, with a different pitch or vowel sound. By the time the babies were born, they had heard the made-up word, on average, more than 25,000 times. And when they were tested after birth, these infants' brains recognized the word and its variations, while infants in a control group did not, Partanen and colleagues report online today in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
Babies who had heard the recordings showed the neural signal for recognizing vowel and pitch changes in the pseudoword, and the signal was strongest for the infants whose mothers played the recording most often. They were also better than the control babies at detecting other differences in the syllables, such as vowel length. "This leads us to believe that the fetus can learn much more detailed information than we previously thought," Partanen says, and that the memory traces are detectable after birth. "This is a well-respected group and the effects are really convincing," says Patricia Kuhl, a neuroscientist at the University of Washington in Seattle. Combined with previous work, she says, these results suggest "that language learning begins in the womb."

Are ya’ll ready for some jiggle??!! We ALL need a little #jiggle in our life!!! 😆😆😆 Here’s a little preview of my workout today. I’m sure you see a lot of my tribe starting a new workout that just came out, but I’m doing what works best for ME right now.
Pretty simple, but EFFECTIVE moves...👌🏻 I could start the new program if I wanted to, but I’m not ready. I want to build more of a foundation first.
What I’m doing here is ALSO what I’ll be using in my health and wellness academy I’ll be opening soon. (So excited 🤗) Stay tuned!!!
This story/ testimony is amazing 👏❤️
‘I’m a single Mum to an 11 year old boy who has been diagnosed with ASD, ADHD and anxiety. By age 7 he was on anti-depressants and sleeping medication followed by ADHD medication, all of which have really scary side effects. I also went on anti-depressants for a year as I felt isolated and lonely, turning to food and alcohol to cope.
18 months ago we decided to hit the road full time to travel Australia. My son doesn’t eat many veggies and I was worried about his diet. I ordered some capsules for myself and got the free chewables for my son. It took 4 or 5 months before I started to really notice big, and unexpected, differences in us both. For me, my mood is more stable, I feel I cope better and my previously, constant back pain is gone. My son’s moods also seemed to be more stable so we made the decision to stop his medication. He often comments now that he no longer gets headaches and can go to the toilet more regularly. Meltdowns are very rare these days and I have my happy, bubbly child back. And I couldn’t be happier!
Juice Plus+ has not cured anything but it sure has made our lives so much more enjoyable. Most importantly, I can relax in the comfort that he is getting the nutrition he needs without the associated risks with medication. I’m not against medication at all but I’m stoked that we’ve found something natural that works for him instead of it. 💚💚💚
PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN A CURE ❤️

Yummies Mummies is an hour long class in which you can bring the little one with you!
The class itself is suitable for new mummies and mummies new to fitness. ( max 1 year postnatal). You can bring little one with you and they can join in or play around you. It’s a great way of getting your confidence back and get involved in the fitness side of life.
The class itself is designed to work the entire body and will be constantly varied. I would encourage you to let your little one participate as not only does it teach them, but it gets them moving to. If your little one comes along and is a little distracted that’s also fine, there are plenty of other babies for him/her to interact with. We are mums and us mums always stick together so this is an hour for you and your child to have some fun whilst in the company of other like minded Mummies!
We will be starting on a Wednesday morning 11.30-12.30 and will be based at ION Strength and Conditioning. Get in touch for more info at email@example.com! #postnatal#fitness#mums#health#cardiff
