The biggest mistake I made when I first started my fitness journey was following and mimicking a lot of fitness influences, posts, blogs, videos and expect to achieve their goals with my body
I was dieting so hard, training so hard with minimal results that weren’t sustainable to my lifestyle at all!
And most importantly, I was never happy deep down
Instead of competing with myself I was comparing myself to people that were physically built differently to me
It was like a never ending cycle.
When I thought I was happy with my body, I would jump on Instagram and see all these amazing, fit, healthy and strong woman and automatically criticize myself in every way
I had the most unhealthiest relationship with my mind and body
Until... I found what works for me.
I can’t expect for you to get the same results I have by doing what I do. But I can guarantee that you can get the results you’ve been working so hard for, when you are given what works for you
I know that sometimes it can be discouraging when you see other people look the way you want to look, especially when you’re trying so hard .
But look at it as a blessing, if we all looked the same we probably wouldn’t thrive to be healthy and want to improve our health, fitness and lifestyle .
Be thankful that you are so different to next person and rather than chasing the dreams to have someone’s body, work hard on the unique and amazing body that has been given to you and be proud to be different.
I’m sure there is someone else out there wishing to have what you have, whether if it’s your body, looks, lifestyle, job etc
So make most of what you’ve been given
The reason I am so motivated about our programs with Body Royalty is because we EDUCATE more than anything!
We teach you that you don’t have to be on minimal calories to achieve your goals or to follow what everyone else is doing
You are the center of the program. Everything is for you and about you
We work on what your strengths are and set realistic and sustainable results
I love what I do and am almost brought to tears when I see the amazing efforts and results made by all the members in the @body.royalty family
Regrann from @lib@libertascali - Así de simple! #soyliberta @libertascali #niunamenos#Cali#Colombia#fem#feminism> #feminist #feminism #feminista - #regrann
