Ecco che trovare il giusto allineamento del piede è fondamentale per creare una base solida sulla quale costruire movimenti funzionali e fluidi. Tuttavia quando si eseguono esercizi o movimenti sulle mani, quali push-up, get-up o un qualsiasi altro movimento richieda l’appoggio del palmo su una superficie, purtroppo, non si pone la stessa attenzione che si da al piede. Così come il piede può condizionare l’allineamento dell’arto inferiore e quindi della schiena, anche la mano può condizionare l’intero arto superiore, spalla e zona cervicale. Yesterday we tried a variety of crunches 😁💪 . So our first one: downhill crunches . I really like how he has to organize his body and how his back is coming up. But he is using his neck a little more (than usual) and he's having (too) much weight on the front legs. #cor#corestability on this Tuesday! I got @brihaggerty doin work with kettlebells. I have her doing hi/low farmer walks. __ 🤔How do you do it: start off by grabbing a pair of kettle bells. But make sure you have one that you can raise over your head safely. And walk with. From there, you want to even out your torso and raise one of the kettlebells over your head. Make sure to keep your overhead arm in line with your ear. Then, YOU GOTTA WALK! Stay steady while you walk and make sure the 🛎 does come crashing down onto your head!! Then alternate sides when you get to the end of your walk. __ 🤷🏽‍♂️ Why would you do them?: this exercise is meant for you to balance your trunk. You have one kettle bell trying to weigh you down and you have the other one overhead. So those are going against each other. Your job is to make sure that your body stay strong and keep them both from making you lean one way or the other. Also, it builds up shoulder stability and grip strength as well. __ For starters, make sure you have a lower weight and walk for 10 yards down and back. I love breaking down the Turkish Get-Up (TGU) and spicing it up with some of my own flavor to the movement 🌶 . I made the movement a little more dynamic by using my legs to drive the kettlebell up☝🏻 . The rocking motion makes it a bit more challenging to stabilize the kettlebell overhead. But try it without any weight at first and see if you can keep your hand overhead throughout the whole movement 💪🏻 . Have a blessed day! .
